Animation leads to Disney. Disney leads to new canon. And new canon leads to retro continuity...

jokes aside, looking forward to this episode!

So hyped... The meat of the season is happening! I think from this point on, the story telling will be beyond phenomenal, considering Filoni wants to top The Lawless TCW episode.

The lightsabre duel in the preview looked a lot more fluid than it did previously. It's good they are finally adding flashes when the lightsabres connect with each other, that was missing in season 1.

The Lawless was a masterpiece. Would be extremely difficult to top.

This episode has the potential to be another hectic one which could have benefited from being split out or extended (side note: hope there are in fact Director's Cuts of these episodes which make it onto the Blu Ray).

Regardless, I am charging up my hype thrusters in anticipation. Looks like a lot of important exposition and overarching plot development is due to happen this week.

I'm with you on this one. This needs to be a three arc.

Actually I'm pretty confident the next 4 episodes are indeed part of a 4 part arc. I was skeptical about "The Forgotten Droid" being apart of the set, but then when you see "The Mystery of Chopper Base" and the read the description makes me think it is indeed a 4 part arc after all. They all sound connected to me.

I recall ol' Dave claiming Rebels won't have arcs, like TCW. I could be wrong, but I remember something along those lines.

This episode: Ahsoka, Ezra, and Kanan start doing their own thing.
The Forgotten Droid: The Rebels discover the location for their new base.
The Mystery of Chopper Base: Ahsoka, Ezra, and Kanan go off on their own adventure and the Rebels kill those creatures so they can have a safe base.
Finale: Yeah we all know what's about to go down there.

rebels already had an arc, the last 3 episodes of season 1. You could also count Empire Day and Gathering Forces. Both examples being the same story over multiple episodes.

I'm so excited for these last episodes, the season in general has been better than S1 so bring it.

I completely forgot about the Inquisitors until I read something about them, the series is cool without them, Kallus and the Empire/Vader are enough.

I'd rather not have the only lightsaber opponent for Ahsoka, Kanan, and Ezra just be Vader. Would get very boring very fast and they'd probably just end up messing up Vader if he appeared that often.

The Temple Guard has to be the Grand Inquisitor.. His stance, his movements, his mannerisms his voice. Also Dave Filoni (I think, it was someone from the show) did say we have seen the GI in The Clone Wars.

Exactly! That's why they have Inquisitors serving as grunt force users to fill that void.
