    Hi, everybody!

    Hi, Dr. Nick!

    Sorry. ;)

I was wondering if you could compile for me a list of recommended reading for fans of the Mandalorians and Jango and Boba Fett.

I would like this list to include everything: books (young and adult readers), comics, RPG stuff, video games, etc.

    Rock on!

Knights of the Old Republic had plenty, one of the NPCs was named Canderous, one of the best warriors of the Mandalorian Wars a few years before KOTOR. Lots of Mandalorians were in that game, both as regular NPCs and enemies.

Right off the top o' me head...

    • SW: Knights of the Old Republic (video game -- *the* dominant source at the present for Mandalorian history and far, far more than you'd ever expect to learn under one "cover")

    • Tales of the Jedi: The Sith War (Ulic and Lord Mandalore. You might've heard about this one somewheres, I'd hazard...)

    • Jango Fett: Open Seasons (2002 mini-series)

    • Classic Star Wars: A Long Time Ago, Volume 5 -- Fool's Bounty (features the famous Marvel Mandalorian storyline)

    • The John Wagner-penned/Cam Kennedy-plotted, pre-AOTC Boba Fett one-shots from Dark Horse (collected in one volume, along with a new one last year in SW Tales)

    • The Boba Fett Scholastic novels (ain't bad reads for SW, and illuminates Boba's relationship with Count Dooku)

    • SW: Bounty Hunter (video game -- Jango and Montross shortly before AOTC)

    • The Jango Fett and Zam Wesell one-shot comics (the Poof's death, amongst many other things)

    • That recent yarn a couple issues back in Tales delving into the appurtenance between Boba and Pater

For Boba Fett, read the Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy (The Mandalorian Armour, Slave Ship, Hard Merchandise)

Add to the list Tales #18 - an all-Fett issue (even though it is Infinities, it is still quite good).
And Boba makes an appearance in the Diversity Alliance
part of the Young Jedi Knights series (don't have the titles to hand at the moment but I think it is books 7 -11).

Also part of the Shadows of the Empire comic follows Boba's journey to Tatooine to deliver Han (in carbonite) to Jabba. Quite good!

Try TUF, even if it only is a cameo of Boba and the Mandalorians (in which they sweep the floor with the Vong)

There's an awesome story in Tales from the New Republic where Boba takes down an entire Imperial Garrison.

also wasn't Issue #7 of Empire a Boba Fett story?

and for Jango Fett -- the storyline of the Bounty Hunter console game.

    I liked Bounty Hunter Wars.

Now that I am home here are the Young Jedi Knight books featuring Boba Fett: Shards of Alderaan, Diversity Alliance, Delusions of Grandeur, Jedi Bounty, The Emperor's Plague.

And a few more from my collection:
Star Wars Battle of the Bounty Hunters (pop-up comic book). Story is from the Shadows of the Empire comic.

Aurra Sing: Dawn of the Bounty Hunters. Non-fiction book by Ryder Windham and Josh Ling. Looks at the main bounty hunters, how the characters and ships came to be, and their appearances in the films and EU. Came packaged with the Star Wars Masterpiece edition with Aurra Sing on the box. Worth the price of the whole thing. Not sure if it is available separately.
It came out prior to AOTC so no Zam or Jango in it.

And two for very young readers which I got for the art and pictures:
Star Wars: I Am A Bounty Hunter by Boba Fett (as told to Kerry Milliron)
Jango Fett: Bounty Hunter by Eric Arnold (a Jedi Readers Step 3 book)

I don't think anyone mentioned Tales Volume #2, which had the story of Sintas and Boba Fett's child (Infinities, but I believe some of the story was referred to in an issue of Gamer). And Empire #7 did have a Boba Fett story in it.

Yes, that "Sintas" story from 2001 is now "provisionally canon" at the outside, barring any future retroactive appliqué of new policy.

Only the part of the story dealing with Boba Fett marrying sintas and having a child has been officially confirmed in a canon source.

The main part of story, the part told in tales hasn't been refrenced in any source though.

Leland still says early pre-#21 issues still fall under the "non-canon with elements of continuity". So we know in the case of sintas and her child are the elements of continuity currently pulled from the the rest of the story.

Two more to add to the list (though they are hard to find). Here in the UK, in 1993, Boxtree Limited published The Lost Jedi Adventure Game books - two 'create your own adventure' books by Paul Cockburn. Jedi Dawn was the first, taking place prior to ANH, followed by The Bounty Hunter, which takes place a couple of years after the first book. In both books you play Havet Storm, a young Jedi. And in both books, you come up against Boba Fett. These occasionally can be found on Amazon UK, usually in the Markeplace. My attempts at playing usually ended with Fett killing me.
