Red Fusion Dr. Pepper

I discovered this a few weeks ago. Very good, this is in PA too, like Pepsi Blue, does anyone have any take on this one? Good, bad, neither?

It's 99% Dr. Pepper - you have to "look" for the cherry flavor in it.

 

Red Fusion is the worst thing by Dr. Pepper since Dr. Slice (anyone remember that from '95 and '96?)

 

There's a new kind of Dr. Pepper? Why wasn't I informed of this????

 

It tastes just like Dr. Pepper. I had to imagine the cherry flavoring. I always poured it into a clear glass because the color was the only differecne.

 

Well, you can go to QT's and mix your own drink. Like, you could get a Dr. Pepper and add your own cherry syrup into it, so I guess it's no big thing.

 

Red Fusion Dr. Pepper = the nasty taste of Dr. Pepper lacking syrup.

 

Boy, you guys have no taste buds!

 

I happen to really enjoy it. I've long been one of those weird people who preferred Mr. Pibb to Dr. Pepper, and of course Pibb is hard to get where I am -- the local Coke bottlers also do Pepper, so they don't want to put out competing brands. The Red Fusion, though, I think comes fairly close. BTW, Dr. Slice wasn't by the Dr. Pepper people; it was part of Pepsi's attempt to create a whole bunch of new products using their Slice label.

 

If you use your imagination and concentrate real hard you can taste the cherry, otherwise its just D.P. in a different bottle.

 

Like Vanilla Coke

 

Vanilla coke isn't that bad. I grew up drinking coke floats so there really isn't much difference. Red fusion needs more cherry though.

 

It tastes like they took out some of the Dr Pepper flavor and added something, but it takes a while to figure out what it is.

My wife loves the original and said that if you put it infront of her without her knowing she'd just thinking it was an "off batch" of Dr Pepper.

I'll stick with the original.

Vanilla Coke's good now and then, but I'll make mine from Original and Vanilla Syrup given the chance.

 

Vanilla coke is the best. red fusion dr. pepper? I'll have to taste that...

 

Vanilla Coke is now my fav. pop.

Oh and let me save you some money, don't ever buy Pepsi blue. Imagine the worst artifitial blueberry flavor, make it syrupy and add fizz. It's that except worse.

 

I like it actually. I like regular Dr Pepper as well. It's now one of my favorite drinks.

 

If they just added cherry to it, I won't know the difference. Dr. Pepper always tasted like cherry to me, anyway.

 

My favorite soda is Big Red Soda, unfortunatly I have only seen it in Texas, parts of Arkansas, and a couple of places in Tennessee.

 

Vanilla Coke is addictive. I've been buying a 2 liter of it every weekend. Shame on me.

 

Dr Pepper is already like cherry coke, and the red Dr Pepper only has a little more cherry flavor.
