Redheads galore~

It appears that in the Star Wars galaxy, redheads are a dime-a-dozen. There are your goody-goody redheads, and your bad-girl redheads. Crimson and red-gold, to auburn and ruddy redheads.

I'm on a quest to find all the known redheads in Star Wars. Be it Movies, Books, Comics, Video Games, or even the SW Roleplaying Games (WEG or WotC).

But I can't do it alone! If you know the name of a redheaded SW babe (or non-babe), please submit their full name, and where they appeared. Humans and Aliens alike.

Cerasi from Jedi Apprentice Defenders of the Dead. I don't think she has a last name.

 

Did Tenel Ka's mother, Teneniel, have a kind of red hair? She was in the Courtship of Princess Leia. I also think Isolder's mom has red hair. She was also in that book. Both are human.

 

Mara's Clone, Shira brie, aka Lumiya also had Red Hair.

I believe Iella Wessiri is a redhead... if not she sure should be. Whew! Anybody know if Mirax Terrik is? (I know, I know, these girls are half my age...)

I am particularly fond of the carrot-tops of the universe, but at least redheads ain't as prevalent in the GFFA as they are in, say, Marion Zimmer Bradley's Darkover books. I can take one or two, but a whole damned planet's worth? *And* they're telepaths? Run for cover!

Thingy, wass-her-name...the woman in "River of Chaos" that turned out the be the Queen, ended up with the second-coolest ever Imperial Pilot (and proved that since she was a mechanic she could fix his artificial leg, which will save on medical bills ).

 

bwahaha...this thread is hilarious. I love it...red is an incredibly overused hair color in the EU.

 

What about Green eyes...commonly the two go hand in hand......and while not as prevalent as Redheadedness...it deserves mention...

 

There was the red-headed chick in Jedi's Honor.

There was the red-headed "Shira stand-in" farm girl Luke encountered just after his whole Shira ordeal.

There was the red-headed Imperial chick who commanded the Lost Fleet in the Outer Rims.

Elscol Loro and Nomi Sunrider both had "reddish-brown" hair.

But Mara was the first! (In the novels, at least, in the order they were written. I think. Correct me if I'm wrong!)

 

Nope. Strictly speaking novels, Mon Mothma is the first. If we're strictly speaking expanded universe novels, Dena Treadway beat her by a year - 1990.

If we're talking first red-headed Emperor's Hand, Mara was nearly a decade late.

If we're talking first red-head, Mara is way down on the list.
