Regular Cheerios suck, but the honey nut ones are good...

Why are the regular cheerios so crapy, but the honey nut cheerios are good? I don't think anyone eats the regular ones...

 

I don't like either really. Too plain.

The honey nut ones make a film on the top of your mouth. That cannot be natural.

 

I'd prefer a film to the kind of damage Cap'n Crunch can do to that area.

I think I'm going to find a box of plain cheerios to see what they taste like.

i can't help but notice that you've all forgotten apple cinnamon cheerios as well as whole grain cheereios.

 

Multi grain or whole grain, I can't remember which they're called, but those are my favorite cheerios

 

Fried Cheerios

1/2 tbsp. butter (might have to adjust, I don't measure it out)
1 heaping cup of plain Cheerios

Melt the butter in a frying pan. When it's all melted and bubbling a little bit, add Cheerios and toss for 30 seconds. Put into a bowl and eat - like popcorn, not like regular cereal. It's gross with milk, but good plain.

You can't do that with honey nut Cheerios. Actually, you [i]can[/i] and maybe it wouldn't taste nasty, but "frying" plain Cheerios makes them a bit more exciting. Or at least flavorful.

 

I eat high fibre wheat bran cereal; dry. It doesn't taste great. It doesn't taste bad. Hell of good for you though.

Cheerios is the only cereal that I can eat with milk added.

 

I eat honey nut cherrios because they are friggen yummy
