Remembrance Day (11/11/2007)

In a few minutes here in the UK, it'll be the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month. The moment when in 1918 the guns were silenced and The Great War came to an end.

This thread is to remember the victims of ALL wars, whatever country you are from. To remember the fallen and the sacrifice they made for all of us.

"They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM."

I like to honour the veterans with one of my favourite war poem, called the German guns by Private S. Baldrick.

for clarity for the US posters - the war we're referring to you usually call the 1917-1918 War.
