Anyone know a good way on how to do this?

Im trying to get the blade out of my Obi-wan saber but I cant open it to get it out, and I cant "rip" it out.

no offense or anything, but why not just buy a build your own lightsaber kit? the blade is already off.

Unscrew anything and everything you can, then force it out. It's difficult and a bit concerning, but it worked on my orange one. Maybe spray some WD-40 in there to persuede it a bit...

    *Try at your own risk.

The reason i want to remove the blade is to put it in the ultimite lightsaber kit, because the blades in the kit arnt very strong at all.

Put some goo-gone or goof-off at the base and twist the blade back and forth. After a few minutes put some more on and twist and rock it - it will eventually come off. Be warned, I don't think you'll be able to simply put another blade on, you'll have to make some type of adapter.

Most colors you can barely see with medium light, and the blades will break easily if your in a duel.

k well, awfully easy, just use the force to pry the blade out and also, ever heard of tryign to hutn for your own crystals?LOL just kidding, why not try hacksawing the blade out? bit extreme but it might work, but I think the hasbro blades won't fit in the build your own lightsaber kit because as many have noticed, they are two VERY diffrent things.

I actually got the blade out two hours ago thanks to brute force and Wd-40. The blade fit perfectly, but i wanted the Ultimite lightsaber blade on my obiwan saber (it looks alot cooler) I had to "melt" off some of the outer plastic with my dremel.
