Revan: Male Or Female?

how do you see revan? male or female. i see rev as male the storyline is the best.

 

According to the canon, isn't Revan supposed to be female?

 

revan is canonically male. i know revan took a female mask he was funny that way. unless revan is retconned into being female. and i think you were thinking of the exile she's canonically female.

 

Revan male, Exile female works pretty well in my book. Bastilla > Handmaiden and Aton > Carth+Disciple.

 

I always liked female Revan because I like Carth

But pissing Bastilla off as male Revan is one of the highlights of the game.

I played through as all four possibilities (dark/light male & female)...I personally preferred Revan male and the Exile female.

 

From my perspective Revan is definitely male. I love the story! To tell the truth, i have not actually played as female yet, even though i`v had this game for years

The Exile however im not so sure of. Played both Male and Female. I like the female character. But i cant yet decide which one works best.

 

if you play as the exile female, and do the dark side ending, sion reveals that he admires you, and thought you were better than revan.

for me:

Revan-Male
Exile-Female/Male

I prefer to play as male characters, but for the Exile's story either gender works better. I also like playing the canon story more too, although the Dark Side ending to KOTOR1 was cool, it wasn't hard to guess what would happen.

 

I find that it is better to play Revan as a female. It may have something to do with the fact that Revan seems more...I dont know...Powerful. Women are not known to be Sith Lords, except for Traya, in the KOTOR saga while men seem to dominate. The choices for relationships are also better, in my opinion at least.

 

IIRC, Atton Rand wanted Revan to be a woman.

 

I prefer the exile as male because Disciple/Mikal = pure fail. I absolutely hate that character. If there was an option to kill him, I'd do it, even as a light sider.

That said, there's a mod out there that allows a female exile to recruit Brianna/Handmaiden.

As for Revan, I'm sort of a Revan/Bastila shipper so yeah... male Revan all the way.

 

I also did all four possible endings for both games. My fav was Revan male and getting together with Bastilla. The writing in that game is outstanding. I still haven't been floored the way I was when I found out I was Revan!

 

Well that's the thing....I feel like if Revan were to be canonically female, then there would have been a special mention that a female Sith Lord was running around the galaxy kicking the Republic's arse. In other words, you can't have a notorious villain be female and not have their gender go unnoticed. Obviously there was no mention of Revan's gender brought up in any of the conversations regarding the character, so it should make more sense that he/she/whatever is male.
