Amph Rian Johnson's Benoit Blanc Mysteries (Knives Out, Glass Onion, Wake Up Dead Man)

Figured we must have had a Knives Out thread from back in 2019, but according to a search I just ran, apparently we did not so... I guess I'm making this one now! The second film's title has finally been revealed to be Glass Onion, and it releases this upcoming holiday season.

Called it here first- 3rd movie is daniel craig trying to figure out who murdered rian johnson on day 1 of the third movies set.

Also I swear we had a Knives Out thread….

 

Benoit Blanc will seek out the mysteriously missing thread in the third film. It's a clue in the Johnson investigation!

 

This is gonna be awesome. Rian Johnson is such a great writer and director probably the best ever.

Yes! Inject it into my eyes. I will absolutely be seeing this on the big screen.

 

I'm going to try to see this at TIFF in a couple of weeks. Will report back if I'm able to score tickets.

 

Yeah I'm not watching that. The teaser that is. I am seeing this movie for sure.

 

So from the end line, it sounds like they might all be on a rich-person's "murder mystery game" event and someone actually gets murdered. Which would be hilarious.

 

That is indeed the premise! Johnson talked about that in his Empire interview a couple weeks back – and I am very excited to see how this all plays out.

Also, no sign of Ethan Hawke in any of the marketing so far. I wonder if maybe he's the corpse?
