    I just watched Big Fish for the first time this past weekend. I liked his character. *sigh* :(

    Big Fish? Definitely liked it. Enough to want to read the novel it's based on!

    Tim Burton's got a flair for storytelling.

    He seemed like a very nice guy and I liked his movies.

    Dying at age 32 from natural causes, man, that's scary.

    I totally agree, but I also know a few people who say they hate his stuff. Maybe it's one of those things where you either love it, or hate it?

    I totally agree, too! I've heard some people who don't like ANY of his stuff - either too gothic or ? for their taste. I mean, I didn't think his version of Planet of the Apes was the greatest, but it was as good as or better than some of the lesser "...Apes" movies that came out of the 70s.

    James and the Giant Peach was great. Freaky, but great. The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my most favorite Christmas movies of all time. I loved his take on Batman. And I just personally think that when Depp, Burton, and Elfman get together - it's magic!

    Back on Burton:pee Wee's Big Adventure was awesome. Same with Nightmare Before Christmas too!

    What a sad thing to hear. I thought he was wonderful in "Big Fish".
