Rogue One Rogue One a Fan Edit?

Hello there! I've recently joined to ask the question is there any projects or upcoming projects where Rogue one has a Fan Edit? I ask this because I enjoyed Rogue One so much that I don't understand why it didn't have a opening crawl, for me the opening crawl is the iconic start to any Star Wars film ever.

So are there any projects like this currently under way? and would you like to see an edit like this?

 

I don't see a point to an opening crawl. The movie is made so that all the exposition is integral to the story. What would the crawl say? Nothing useful, IMO.

 

Fair enough it doesn't offer much in terms of story, but I just don't see why it didn't have one, I'm so used to seeing big bright yellow text with some John Williams to follow before getting into the movie.

Some people argue that it's due to it being a spin-off but maybe this could have been altered for the text to have been another colour but even so, seems odd.

 

First, we don't need a separate thread to discuss fan edit videos. Second, we have an existing thread to discuss that lack of an opening crawl in RO.
