Rogue One Trailer: Bacta Tank or Holo Chamber (Poll)

Is this fair game for a poll?

Just curious what people think

 

I really can't make up my mind. Either somebody is about to be unfrozen or it's some kind of energy device. The set has noticable elements from both Vader's chamber aboard the Executor and the carbon-freezing facility in Cloud City.

It's a riddle and definitely a scene I'd like to see more of...

 

Isn't it one of those transporter things from Star Trek?

What it looks like to me is an energy devise, but I doubt that it is. With the Imperial guards there, you would think that it has to have something to do with the Emperor; and the caped dude kneeling also supports the idea that the Emperor is near. It sorta looks like a pillar of ice, but Sheev wouldn't get himself frozen (great, now I'm hearing Palpatine singing 'Let It Go' in my head) . Some kind of concentrated Force pillar? No, that makes no sense. I'll go with Palpatine's person horizontal hot tub.

 

The almost icy looking mist surrounding it almost makes it seem like some sort of cryo-chamber... I honestly don't know. It feels like every theory I come up with just ends up being contradicted by another element in the movie.

Maybe it's Vader coming out of some cooling chamber that treats his pain and wounds? And the hooded figure is one of his servants...

 

It's not a bacta tank, I'm nearly positive of that. Could be a holo chamber - but I'm leaning on 'something else'.

 

It may not be a bacta tank specifically, but it could be something medically related.

I kinda think it's part of the DS superweapon. It glows like its powered by a Kyber crystal.

Having said that, I wish it were a Bacta tank.

 

Imprisoned Snoke, held by Palpatine, interrogated telepathically. A side effect of the Rebel-wrought destruction is his release. Or not. He may still BE in that chamber nearly 40 years later!

Edit: so that means Bacta! And can someone tweak the contrast on the pic, see if anything crops up (that isn't Jar Jar)?
