Absolutely thumbs up, he's a sassy little guy but it doesn't make sense otherwise.

And I'm in.

As for R2 popularity, I'd say with the kids he's already there.

 

I dont think the middle finger gesture even exists in that galaxy far, far away lol

 

Fun fact for any BB-8 fans (I am definitely one!). George Lucas had a desire to include a character in the ST that could move on its own, much like some versions of BB-8 could, before even ANH was released!

 

I want in. BB-8 is so adorable, he is little baby-brother to R2-D2.
My favorite moment is, of course, the "thumbs up" lighter trick. My brother and I could hardly control ourselves.

well we know they say "Jedi Poodoo" over there so there's some derogatory language

 

"poodoo" is Huttese for "fodder."

 

I love BB-8. To me, he's the cutest Star Wars character overall.
There are a lot of moments with BB-8 that stand out. One of my favorite parts is when he gives Finn the thumbs up. It's just so cute! I also like the part when he keeps looking back and forth between Finn and Rey when he's deciding whether to trust Finn. And when he looks at the tool Rey needs to help Finn find it. And the part when he uses his portion of the map to complete R2's much larger map. And the part where Poe and Finn are talking and he is just underfoot; he kind of reminds me of a pet in that shot. Basically, BB-8 rocks all the time.

 

Delighted to join. I loved pretty much anything with BB-8. Hope to see him interacting more with R2 in Ep VIII.

When Rey say's he cant come with her and he look's down and back up like he's entirely aware of his cuteness and the effect he has on people.
