Saga ROTS AU: What if Palps was killed on Grievous' ship?

OK....


I'm trying the land of AU's and don't make fun of me!

So here is the first part.


Anakin looked at Obi-Wan in the elevator, "Well, Palpatine has to be saved anyway." The door opened. There it was, a chair looking towards the battle. It turned around and before their eyes, there was Chancellor Palpatine. He told the Jedis, "Free me, I need outside..." Then out of the blue, General Grievous entered with two of his Magnaguards. Palpatine was hopeless, "You'll never defeat Grievous!" Grievous looked at Anakin Skywalker, "You look younger, chk...Kha" Obi Wan told Anakin, "We fight together Anakin." Anakin prepared his lightsaber. It shone radiantly in blue as Obi Wan prepared his lightsaber. The two Jedi ran with their lightsabers charging at Grievous. Grievous acted predictable to Obi Wan as Anakin was pushed by Grievous to the wall. Anakin was knocked unconscious. The MagnaGuards got killed by Obi Wan quickly and efficiently. Palpatine mocked Obi Wan, "You can't win! You have to give up!" Grievous told Obi Wan, "Give up and the war will be over." Obi- Wan pushed Grievous over the balcony and they kept on fighting. Then, Obi Wan wounded Grievous in the arms and legs. He also wiped out the nervous system so Grievous couldn't send in the extra arms. Then Palpatine told him, "Kill Grievous, kill him." Obi Wan replied, "No Chancellor, I can't kill Grievous, He should be tried first, then he should be killed." The Chancellor told him a grave secret, "I'm the Sith Lord you're looking for" Obi Wan then pulled himself in his defense stature. The Chancellor then fired force lightning on Obi Wan. Anakin woke up and saw the terror. His Master was struck by lightning. Anakin then told Obi Wan, "Don't kill Palpatine, he's my friend!" Obi Wan told Anakin, "That does not matter, He tried to kill me" Obi Wan pushed Anakin unconscious. He lunged his lightsaber at the Chancellor and beheaded him. Obi Wan cried, "I'm so sorry! Why did I do this?" But the good thing was, he recorded the dialogue between him and Palpatine. He looked at the buttons of Palpatine's prison chair. He turned off everything which caused a power outage in the ship. The escape pod controls were left on. and Obi Wan and the two bodies that he had to carry, Anakin's and Grievous' He elevated down to the escape pods and he contacted the Republic cruiser, "Grievous is captured but Palpatine was dead because he told me he was a Sith Lord in his body language, and meaning. Get the escape pod before the Vulture Droids do." Then, Anakin woke up and asked Obi Wan, "Why'd you kill Palpatine?" Obi Wan told him, "He's a Sith Lord. He told me his secret. So I killed him." Anakin nodded. He pulled Grievous' body in the escape pod and he and Anakin went in the escape pod.

Intriguing start, but it would be easier to read if you broke this into paragraphs. Just my humble opinion.

So, Obi-Wan killed Palps? Definitely a different take.

 

Not a bad idea-- flesh out the story a bit more

 

Overall, the premise could create a good story.

However, you may want to separate out the paragraphs a bit more, and the dialogue as well. Also, a bit more detail might help in the quality of the story.

those are just my ideas.

Don't stop writing! I want to see where this goes.

Okay Part 2!!


Obi Wan had a yucky feeling when the escape pod landed in the hangar bay. He, Anakin, Grievous came out of the escape pod and thanked Master Windu for picking them up. Grievous cackled, "I can kill you Windu!" Obi Wan told Grievous, "We knocked out your nervous system, you can't move a limb!" Master Windu asked Obi-Wan, "I heard throught the grapvine that you killed Chancellor Palpatine, is that right?" Obi Wan told him, "Yes Master, I did kill the Chancellor, I have the sound recording to prove it." He pulled a recorder. It played. Master Windu sensed a feeling that something was wrong with Palpatine. He didn't know what it was. Then two clone troopers asked, "Do we arrest him?" Master Windu told the troopers, "We should. Take him away." Then the troopers grabbed Obi Wan and took him away.

Dooku had done it. He had went to Utapau and he had grieved for Grievous. He had grieved for Sidious, for he had nothing to do. The Viceroy asked Dooku, "What do we do in a time like this? The Republic will kill us!" Dooku frowned, "Yes... He was such a motivator." Dooku looked at the distance of the Utapauns surrendering. He had hope.

Part 3


Today was a scary day. To stand before the Jedi Council for an act of murder. Yoda asked Obi Wan, "Master Kenobi, you did not know what you did?" Obi Wan told Yoda, "Yes I did, I killed the Chancellor, He was a Sith Lord, you can sense it in me that he told me of his secret." Master Yoda told Obi Wan, "Too vague it is, I see what he was saying, He had to murder for the right reason." Master Windu told him, "He knocked Anakin unconscious" Obi Wan lashed out at Windu, "I did what I did because I could sense it in the dark side, that Anakin would slaughter me." Ki Adi Mundi phrased it, "You were afraid of death, so you knocked him unconscious" Obi Wan told him, "Look it, I was going to die by Palpatine's hand, and I knocked Anakin." Master Windu told him, "Case Closed: in 5 days, you will be in jail." Obi Wan left the Jedi Council room.

Obi Wan looked at his sheet of plans. "Go through the Jedi Council doors, go out and fly away,and black out security footage, that's what I need to do." He packed his belongings out and the sun began to dawn. Obi Wan pulled in a shortcut, "Go through the library, and go out the doors and freedom awaits" He passed Jocasta Nu and she didn't look. He passed the door and there he went, freedom.

Anakin asked Padme, "So the baby will come anytime now." She laid on the chair assisted by private medics. She asked Anakin, "Could you give me a kiss?" Anakin leaned over to Padme and kissed her, "You'll be fine." She laid on her bed and hoped for the future.

Master Windu asked Yoda, "Is he right that Palpatine is the Sith Lord that we were looking for?" Yoda said "Yes, he probably is. Obi Wan did a good thing." Master Windu felt uneasy, "I shouldn't of arrested him, it wasn't right" Yoda felt disdain for Windu. But then Jocasta Nu broke the news, "Obi Wan's on the run! He's escaped!" Yoda told Windu, "Should have been here to hear what happened, I would have known earlier, Errgh?"

Part 4


Obi Wan looked. Clone Troopers were taking the streets in force. He trembled as he held on to his lightsaber. He went to a valley and pulled on his cloak. He walked to the nearest armory shop. Obi Wan opened the door and discovered that the armory shop had a sale. He pulled in his credits, "I'd like to buy the Durondum Five armor, make it Red and White with a Pheonix symbol." The armor maker made the armor and gave it to Obi Wan. Obi Wan also told him, "I'll purchase a Sniper Rifle" The armor maker gave him a Sniper Rifle. He went out of the store. Obi Wan then came back to an Underground sewer where there was engineering. He pulled on his armor and went for the outside to infiltrate the office of Palpatine.

Later that night...

Obi Wan had done it. He had snuck to the Chancellor's office. He looked for any data until he saw another order. "Order 66, a order where you kill the Jedi" But then Bail Organa saw him. "Intruder alert!" The alarm blazed, and troopers started to come by the thousands. "I have a bad feeling about this" Obi Wan then jumped up into the passageway he created. He had known the truth.

Anakin asked Master Windu, "Do I get to go to Utapau?" Mace Windu told him, "Yes Master Skywalker, You can go to Utapau and fight Dooku and finish him off." Anakin asked Cody, "Is the ship ready?" Cody answered, "Yes, the ship is ready." Anakin said goodbye to Master Windu. He walked to the Venator and and he went inside with the army. The Venator's doors closed and it flew to Utapau. Master Windu looked at R2-D2, "You are too adventurous R2, Why don't you go with Ki Adi Mundi to find Kenobi. He needs convincing" The exuberant droid went to Ki Adi Mundi and he went in the fighter with him. The blue fighter flew off into space.

Obi Wan Kenobi had the truth. Palpatine was the Sith Lord. He had a personal plan of his own, killing Mas Amedda. He secretly planned on doing it so the Chancellor would not initiate Order 66 on the Jedi when Dooku was killed. He pulled on the Durondum Five armor he had on with upgrades to find a bike.
Later, Obi Wan had found a bike and he headed towards the first amendment of Chancellor Ammedda. He drove the bike to full speed towards the Senate building.

Interesting concept. I'm curious to see where you take this.

It would be easier to read if you spaced out the paragraphs and the dialogue. It's very confusing they way it all runs together.
