Sorry Chris, she's never actually been in Doctor Who :p Maybe you're thinking of Olivia Colman instead? She was in an ep once :)

It’s like the Mandela Effect except only Chris remembers Olivia Cooke being in Dr. Who

Replaying the OG inFAMOUS from 2009, and it's weird to be back in an era of games where the framerate slows down if you look at the city, and speeds up looking at the sky :p

I'm so used to the current generation of consoles that I simply cannot fathom how I dealt with poor framerates in the past. I think the inconsistency is what used to give me headaches while playing those games.

Old old games used to play at reliable framerates. I think choppy framerates were usually either a PC thing or a PS3/Xbox 360 thing. Maybe original Xbox, I don't know, I never played one of those.

    I just don’t think I noticed stuff like that when I had a PlayStation 2 or 3

The only other games I can think of that I've played with particularly inconsistent framerates are the first Assassin's Creed (gets way smoother near the edges of maps), Sonic Unleashed (grinds to crawl sometimes when the object count gets too high), or Morrowind (but only cause I use a draw distance extender mod). Apart from Morrowind, the others all came out around circa ~2008, on PS3.

I can tell you that KOTOR II back in the day ran at like 10 FPS on my dad's 2000 HP desktop.
