That being said I wouldn't be surprised if it's happened before during movies. Frustratingly my anxiety (both positive and negative) can get real bad in the theater, and it's often a struggle to get my mind under control

But enough of that, I gotta focus on the positive in that I just saw this movie on the big screen

 

Now I'm really curious what you mean by positive anxiety

 

It’s always negative anxiety to start when I do something I’ve been anticipating, so sometimes I try and focus on only positive stuff to block out all the garbage and not let the anxiety ruin my night. It works to an extent - I can enjoy what I’m doing - but my heart rate gets quite high trying to like “fight it” for lack of a better word and my emotions tend to spike as a result. But like I said it does kind of work. Not ideal but what can I do

I kind of do feel good that I do have at least a bit of control now though, thanks to close friends/parents/therapists. I remember in high school when I’d have no control/way of fighting back and it was hell.

Yeah, I thought the gameplay was a lot smoother and more satisfying than the first game and the characters were way more memorable
