Is it good?

 

Still holds up, but as far as 90's anime goes, Kiki is definitely prettier on a flat screen.

Although if you PINNACLE level animation for 1990's anime, look no further than the original movie that inspired my avatar.

 

You can't beat the look of 90's anime. Something about the colors, style and even the grittiness. So much attention to details.

Some animes today, lack the attention to details.

 

I think it maybe it's because computer animation wasn't used as much, and there was more focus on the story. Then again, I was (and still am) fairly picky about what anime I watched. Instead of watching the anime on Sci-Fi, I tuned into Fox Kids/ABC Family for my anime viewing, and I was part of my high school's anime club, and we watched a lot of DragonBall Z and Magic Knight Rayearth. I read the MKR manga when I went off to college, and I still have it on my book app on my Iphone, along with all the volumes of Sailor Moon. The only physical copies of manga I own are "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" and "Shuna's Journey".

 

For 15 bucks tonight I got:
- 2 slices of pizza
- A massive bottle of water
- A movie ticket
- Giveaway poster

I call that a win! Seated in the theater for The Accountant 2 right now!!!

Update: fell asleep during the film :/

Not sure if it was because my body was just exhausted from being sick or if the movie was a letdown lol
