Samorost: a brilliant, funny, beautiful, strange, free, online, flash point & click adventure game.

Hellooooo,

I've been hearing about this game Samorost for a while, tried playing it on dialup a few months back, but couldn't be bothered sitting through the loading screens at 38kbps. Now I'm on shiny new broadband, I had another play. What a beautiful point-and-click adventure. And there's absolutely no inventory to worry about;

I got through the game in about 20 minutes, but what a wonderful 20 minutes it was.

Then you can try the newly released SAMOROST2 (but only a demo, as the sequel is a paid download).

Beat all three games. Amazing stuff.

Love the artwork.

Currently stuck on the second screen, with the 3 bird things, one of which falls in the pit...

 

I remember playing Quest for the Rest last year, it's one of the most subtle point and click games I've ever played, and utterly engrossing.

I'll give Samorost a try abit later on when I have some free time

 

click the bob at the bottom of the fishing line, catch a fish, stop lizards from climbing wall, click on pterodactyl after it eats the fish bones

 

I must I really enjoyed SAMOROST, it was short but fun

 

I cant do the cold room with the light switch

 

There's a double plug you need for the fridge.

 

Gotcha, now errr... how do you do the bit with the big fat thing with the hat and the TV.

 

Interfere with his TV viewing and look at his chair when he tries fixes the problem.

Mabey, depends if its longer... But it would be worth it... yes I think I will.

 

Personally, I think that Samorost has become a Classic. I recently heard of a Samorost 2.

 

Would that have been in my opening post of this thread?
