Finished this the other day but I couldn't find a thread on it. I initially thought it would be a Dresden Files knockoff (a disappointment I had with the Nightside series), but it's actually it's own thing and, in my opinion, a very good book. I highly recommend this book for those who love urban fantasy. It has two sequels right now, Kill the Dead and Aloha from Hell. The author didn't explain much of how the supernatural world functions in Sandman Slim, so I'm hoping for more tidbits and clues in the next books. Thoughts?
Read it recently. Preferred Kadrey's other novel, 'the Butcher Bird', but that aside, it was pretty cool. I have the other two sitting on my shelf, so I'll be reading them next.
