The season premiere of Enterprise is Wednesday and it's really important to get the ratings up this year. The series really started improving towards the end of last year and it's looking good for the new year too. It would be horrible for it to get cancelled.

Lots of interesting things are on the way. It looks like they have added Star Trek to the title, changed the opening theme, and the new direction for the series looks very promising. Archer, T'Pol, and Trip have all had large changes, and the 5 species of the Xindi look really cool.

It's worth a watch, so don't let it get cancelled when things are just starting to look good.

They need to get away from the "Strange New Worlds" premise and move in another direction.

here's one I'd like to see, Star Trek:WAR

Star Trek isn't meant to be all about war, so there ya go.

I was severely disappointed with Enterprise the first year and a half, but it picked up at the end of last season, and I'm actually really looking forward to this one.

A new opening theme? Awwww! I like Faith of the Heart. I think this is the best ST yet, it's a shame not many think the same.

Any idea where I can hear this new theme?

I heard that a new theme was submitted, but not going to be actually used. The creators of the new theme hadn't heard back if it was going to be used as of yesterday, so a three day notice would be a little short.

The new theme is just a rumor at this time. Here's the story I read about it.

    trektoday.com

But if youngjedi is right I guess it won't happen afterall.

Tell that to DS9 :p (yeah, it wasn't ALL war, but it mostly was. And it was the BEST Trek)

As for the new theme, I don't like that. The current one is the best theme on TV now, especially combined with the opening credits.

That's why I added the "all", because of the Dominion War. I reeeally enjoyed those two or three seasons, but those were some of the few enjoyable DS9 episodes.

Well, Star Trek Enterprise will have its work cut out for it, because the WB decided to move Smallville to Wed. night, same time slot!

So, all die-hard Trek fans, tune in to Enterprise!

Yes, the best Trek series' had war in them, it makes for more action, more fun viewing.

The one thing I don't like about Enterprise is: Nobody ever dies! I know it used to be a joke about being the fifth guy on the away team in the original series, but come on, let's have at least one person die every so often!

Too bad I don't have access to a television on Wednesday. Too bad that I didn't get to see the last eight reruns because I had to come back to school.

I haven't seen a whole bunch of the last ones of season two, and my siblings are bugging me, trying to tell me what happened and I want to see it.

I love the theme song! I always sing along unless my mom shoots glares in my direction. I wouldn't like it if they really have added Star Trek to it. Everybody knows that it's Star Trek, so why make the name just like the other show titles? I think that's kinda dumb.

You lucky people who get to see the premiere. I know my family will be watching. Long live Enterprise!

I'm pretty sure that so many people on Voyager died, that there would have been noone left on the crew. Also, the ship always seemed to look brand new, even though they were 70 years away from the nearest starbase. Yet 2 more reasons why it sucked :p

Sorry, I gave Enterprise up half way through season 2. The lack of respect for established trek history is disgusting, almost all of the main character bored me to tears and for the most part the plots have been awful. 'Dear Doctor' is the only episode that really stands out for me.

After watching 7 punishing years of Voyager (the lack of credibility highlighted by wild_karrde being the main problem) I just can't take anymore second rate rubbish from a dying franchise.

I've watched just about every episode of all the Star Trek series. I personally like the Enterprise themes song because it's so different, and it fits the mood of the show.
I'll be watching Enterprise this Wednesday, and I'll probably like it like I've like the past two seasons. It's really a good series, at least in my opinion.

Ive always felt that Enterprise was highly unrealistic in its attempts to show the first true space explorations. For the first season and half of the second there was virtually no danger at all, no uncertainties lurking around every corner. They literally cruised through uncharted space like they owned the place and the show suffered as a result, and nonsensical storylines didnt help much, either.

The producers quick fix attempt to save the show is a bold one but unfortunately I think that it may be too little too late. Of course the loyal die hards will watch religiously but the casual fan (like myself) was lost a long time ago, and that's who they need to rope in again to get the ratings at least somewhat respectable.

Smallville is going to be tough competition. That's why it's important for everyone to watch. Enterprise is great! I can't believe some people won't even give it another chance. It may finally catch their interest this year.

And good point Lady_Sami. I never noticed that before, but I can't remember any "redshirts" ever dying on Enterprise.

And Enterprise takes place in 2153 (the seasons match up with the years). I'm hoping to see 2157 someday.

One more thought before I head off to sleep: SPREAD THE WORD. Neilson families are what's needed here. Get them to watch if you know any or are one. Mere hours to go now!

For Star Trek to really pick up alot of changes need to be done.

I found alot of the episodes in Season 1 and 2 to be quite poor, uninteresting and a been there done that feel. I want something original and it doesn't feel like it will happen.

I think that adding Star Trek to the title is a great idea and a new theme song would be welcomed.
