Serpico (1973 Al Pacino film)

Great movie, just like the Book but not as good, Frank Serpico was one of the few honest Police Officers in New York City at that time and was also a really cool guy but would not take bribes or engage in corrupt behavior like everyone else did, probably because Serpico was a Catholic and didnt belive in stealing and being dishonest, Serpico remains one of my favorite movies because it is a gritty drama although it is not for everyone.

 

At least he doesn't speak australian as that crowe in American Gangster.

 

Don't knock American Gangster. Crowe gave a really good performance.

 

I don't know about that. Both crowe and washington was good enough not to spoil the film ... but much more than that, no.

 

His accent was also a bit off in 3:10 to Yuma.
