NEW ORLEANS - A suit brought by two Louisiana women against rapper Snoop Dogg after their breast-flashing pictures were used on a cover of the video series "Girls Gone Wild" has been settled.

Terms of the settlement, which was approved July 21 by U.S. Magistrate Sally Shushan and signed off on by U.S. District Judge Robert McNamara, were not revealed in the court record.

The suit also named Joseph R. Francis, the owner of Mantra Films Inc., which has produced the series of mail-order videos that feature nudity and sexual activity.

Plaintiff attorney Ron Macaluso said he could not discuss the settlement. Attorneys for Francis and Snoop Dogg ? whose real name is Calvin Broadus and who was host of the video ? did not return calls.

Jaime Capdeboscq, who was 17 at the time the pictures were taken, and Whitni Candiotto, who was 18, claim that Francis broke a promise that the picture would not be used in connection with the video. When the video ? known as "Girls Gone Wild Doggy Style" ? came out, the woman found their pictures on the cover.

Francis and Snoop Dogg said the pictures were taken with voluntary consent. They also said a sign was posted in the video shooting area that said: "By entering, you consent to the use of such film and your image in a commercial film product."

The pictures were taken during a party for Snoop Dog at a New Orleans hotel in 2002, Macaluso said earlier.

In Florida, Francis is facing 43 charges including racketeering and promoting the sexual performance of minors while filming at Panama City Beach during spring break of 2003. No trial date has been set.

Last month, Mantra Films agreed to pay nearly $1.1 million to settle government claims that the company shipped unordered products and then charged customers. As part of the settlement with the Federal Trade Commission, the company will pay more than $548,000 to people who received the videos or DVDs and returned them but did not get a refund for shipping costs. The FTC said about 84,000 customers would receive refunds of at least $5.

I betta get my refund, bro!

I don't see why those stupid girls are complaining. No one held a gun to their heads. They knew they were being filmed.
And even girls who don't know they are being filmed, should be held responsible for their own actions if they want to flash in public.

Those girls are young and parties generally include drinking and the intake of drugs which affect your mind-- More than that; you behave different in crowds of people. Especially at that age.

Those Girls Gone Wild videos are absolutely disgusting (of course, my opinion means nothing so let me speak the proper language to get my point across: "Men who find things wrong with those videos are hot and I like to sleep with them." Ha.)

Are you arguing that since these girls are drunk and or on drugs means that they are not responsable for there actions?

I think these girls are dumb. IF you don't want you semi nacked pictures circulated, then don't take off your clothes in public.
