I had always heard that it was a bad movie. But...I just watched it. What a gutwrenching horrifying and sad movie.

The sad part about it is, I feel as though I would have done the same thing Detective Mills did.

Its scariest when evil isn't something that exists in the outside world, but it comes home.

Its a scary, creepy, sadistic, and completely thoughtful and awesome movie.

Kevin Spacey is absurdly good at playing villains.

That was one of my favourite movies. Best part was Paltrow's head in a box (not a fan :p ).

    Brad Pitt got head.

On the other side, I would say Gwyneth Paltrow looked really beautiful in that film.

I've been trying to figure something in my head, and maybe you can help me out, yeah? When a person is insane, as you clearly are, do you know that you're insane? Maybe you're just sitting around, reading "Guns and Ammo", masturbating in your own feces, do you just stop and go, "Wow! It is amazing how ****ing crazy I really am!"? Yeah. Do you guys do that?

I saw this in the theater when it first came out. I only had a vague idea that it was a series of murders each reflecting a deadly sin. I had absolutely no idea how powerful and good this movie would be. I will never, ever forget the sloth murder when that guy took a gasp of air from the death bed. I jumped right out of my seat.

The question I pose to everyone in this thread is, honestly, what choice would you have made if you had been placed in the same place Brad Pitt's character was at the end?

Would you have pulled the trigger or not?

Isn't that tough? Seriously. I've got two kids myself. What a horror to find your wife and children like that. That movie just stays with you.

Well, assuming that it was Paltrow's head in the box still, I would have shook his hand and thanked him for saving me from an unhappy marriage and for saving my unborn child from the agony of being named Apple, Moses, Seven (lol), or some other nonsense.

Frankly, I probably would have beaten Spacey to it.

I feel like I probably would have shot the guy, unless Morgan Freeman said "If you do this, he wins."

That, combined with the fact that I would be in terrible sorrow over my loss, perhaps more than my anger, would mean that I MIGHT not shoot Kevin Spacey, but I dunno...

    I can't say for sure.

    BTW: Paltrow is banging.

No, because as we all know solojones loves Kevin Spacey as it is written.

    I'm_just_guessing, you know.

    Thats a paradox.

See, in order to put sj in such a position that she would be angry enough to shoot someone, it would have to be Kevin Spacey's head in a box. Thus, she could not shoot Kevin Spacey.

I think Hannibal Lector was overrated. Spacey should have been Lector.

The only movie that has left me weak in the knees while walking out of it. I had no idea what to expect from this movie. I went to see it because I liked scary movies and this was a scary movie. This movie just completely blew me away. The polaroid from "Lust" stayed with me for a while.

True enough, that is one of the few films that I found myself shocked and disturbed at the end....

It was a great suspense film.

It's too bad there are so few films that can be done so well as to have such a visceral effect.

I love this film... far better than Fight Club.

I would really like to think that I would not shoot Spacey... but in that exact situation... I don't know. I probably would have pulled the trigger, too.

I'd kill him slowly. There'd be knives, ice, fire and finally bullets.

Se7en is a classic. When it first came out audiences thought it was a cheap rip-off of Silence of the Lambs, but I never saw it that way. It is an excellent movie and one of my favorites. Probably my favorite Brad Pitt movie. Fight Club is good but not better than Se7en.
