So Star Wars is historically pretty squeaky clean. George Lucas has even stated it's for 12-year olds. My history with the EU is one of spoiling myself, so even though I've never made it quite to the Hand of Thrawn duology, I already know that Jacen & Tenel Ka eventually conceive a child out of wedlock. Well, as I stated in my thread here about this trilogy, I recently decided to just say screw it and skip forward to the Dark Nest trilogy. It's in there that Jacen is asked to "stay the night" with Tenel Ka," and he accepts. (EDIT: Oh, I guess this is when the child is conceived!) My question is, is this the first-ever reference in Star Wars to the act of sex? I mean, married people got pregnant before this, but as far as kids are concerned, this could just be "the stork." Anyway, you know what I mean. On a separate note, were Jacen and Tenel Ka ever in a relationship before this, or is this definitely the first time they did the nasty? Did they ever even kiss before this? Gotta know!
Shadows of the Empire has a whole creepy seduction near rape scene featuring Xizor and a pheromone affected Leia.
I feel like there were a handful of "stay the night"-esque scenes over the course of the X-wing books--one with Corran and Erisi comes to mind in particular. I'd bet there was something with Han and Bria as well but that's more of an educated guess.
Destinys Way has some implications between Luke and Mara and maybe Han ad Leia too. I think there was maybe a canon story where leia mentions keeping the slave bikini for 'reasons'
Spoiler: Jedi: Battle Scars There were a very clear hint regarding what Merrin and a new characters were doing in the bunk.
They kissed at the end of YJK, after having danced around each other for the whole series, and it felt that from now on they were official. That was ignored for NJO, since that started as a kind of soft reboat of the EU that was ment to ignore most that had come before, before that idea was ignored and most of the old EU was more or less reintroduced, with at least some of it in a way that did not really fit with how it was originally.
In Tales of the Bounty Hunters there is a Boba Fett tale - 'The Last One Standing: The Tale of Boba Fett'. In the story, Leia is 'offered' to Boba Fett while she is in Jabba's palace. As part of the story Fett comments that sex between those not married is immoral. Organa replies that so is rape.
I seem to recall a number of innuendo jokes in the X-Wing series between various couples. I think there is always suggestiveness and innuendo sprinkled through most content, if someone is inclined to look at it that way. Certainly one...when I was 6 or 10 or maybe even 12, it was beyond me. I don't think anyone missed this one:
Luke and Akanah have implied sex off-screen between two of the Black Fleet Crisis books as I recall...
The old Marvel comics hade many of references - the zeltrons, and at least one hooker (even if i don't rember it's outright stated that's what she is) are what I can remember right now - but I don't remember things being outright stated. At least the Swedish edition of the old D6 RPG had a gaming example of a space-port fixer asking the RP what he was looking for and giving some examples with two of them being "girl" and "boy".
Now I remember an old Marvel comic where Han definitely has sex in a flashback to his smuggler days. It includes a line like "Hours passed...Not unpleasantly." I just finished the audiobook of the first X-Wing, and yeah, it's rife with sex references, with Corran Horn tempted to stay the night with both Mirax & Erisi in one night.
How did you people forget about Beldorion from Planet of Twilight? And his formidable library of Hutt porn. Which Daala's former flame was forced to edit.
Lol in one of the recent mainline issues Amilyn and Lando had sex and in the next scene after it was over Amilyn had some white stuff on her lips.
They had sex, yes, but that was clearly just lighting sheen. Not intended to suggest anything -- and the whole point of that scene was that Chewie picked up the unspoken "vibe" that they'd just had sex. That doesn't work if there's...physical evidence.
Lol ok. It did kind of surprise me that they were potentially being that suggestive in a Star Wars book. Yes it's implied that people in Star Wars have sex the same way we do but given that Star Wars is for all ages they usually avoid being that on the nose about that stuff. In any case it definitely was the wrong time and location to have a coloring mistake on one of their characters.
Well, the Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many variants where to have sex some consider to be unethical.
Battle Scars was weird. Like, it didn't even seem like Cal slept in Merrin's bunk while she was using his for sex. But she felt violated by him going in there are using psychometry on her gf's gear.
