First of all, forgive me if this has already appeared. If you'll kindly direct me to the right thread, I'll pack up this one and be on my way :p.

I just picked this up used for the N64 and flew through it, and at the end (spoiler?) Dash is presumed dead, with the "Can you win on Jedi to find out if he's *really* dead?" teaser.

Well, I just don't have the time to devote to that just to see the ending. Is there anybody who wouldn't mind just spilling the beans? Much obliged,

That's it? Man, I was hoping there'd be a cool cutscene or a bonus level or *something*! Ah well... Thanks for the info, though; you've saved me days. :)

Read the book. It's pretty obvious that he gets away in it. I mean, how could a Han Solo clone die from wreckage.

    He's still out there.

There is a cut scene of Dash and Leebo conversing aboard the Outrider explaining why he faked his death.

Then there's the Shadows of the Empire comic book where he shows up at the end, and he and Guri fall in love.

Any chance of a scan of that comic book's page in question?

No scan, but it didn't say they fell in love.

    I'll post their lines here:

    (Brief summary ahead):
Okay, it's the very last page of the book, Guri has had her memory modified by some tech dude and Luke Skywalker let her go after deciding she really DIDN'T remember committing any of her crimes.

Guri walks into a bar, sees a guy in the corner, and thinks, "YOU look familiar." She walks over to him.
    Guri: Do I know you?
Man: I don't believe we ever formally met, no. Can I buy you a drink? My name is Dash Rendar.
Guri: A drunk? Why not? I'm called Guri.
    THE END

Is that a "drunk" or a "drink"? [face_laugh]

I was really disappointed in the lack of Guri in the game (outside of cutscenes).

The special end cutscene with Dash escaping to hyperspace with Leebo... I [face_love] it! :D

So cool... It seems very Star Wars-y to me.

The comic with Guri running into Dash at the end was the SOTE sequel called SOTE: Evolution, which focused on Guri post-ROTJ. Dash was just a cameo at the end.

Personally, I always hoped they'd make a video game based on SOTE:Evolution... play as Guri for ground missions, fly the Stinger for space missions, it'd be fun ::)

They'd have to flesh it out a bit, though. At least, that's my opinion.

Thanks, guys. I actually read the book years ago, and I was pretty sure Dash got away with it, but I couldn't remember how. I think I'll check out "Evolution," too. It's really unique how they did Shadows, with bits and pieces here and there--like a trial run for the Clone Wars or something.

I think there was more synergy with SOTE than there is with Clone Wars.

With SOTE, it was one story, told across multiple mediums. You wouldn't have the full story unless you read the book, comic and played the video game.

With Clone Wars, it is multiple stories told across multiple mediums, but each story (with one or two exceptions) is self-contained within a single medium.

If anything, Clone Wars is more similar to the NJO's structure, only it includes more than just novels in it.

Just cheat. There's a debug code that'll let you beat the game easily. Look on GameFAQs.com

    IMO, that game was horrible.

Also, is it wrong to be aroused by a droid that looks human?
