    I have no idea if they use show laces... in the other movies it looks like all the shoes are slip-ons

    I love shoelaces. When we're in the car for a long time, I take mine out of my shoe, and play cats cradle. :D

    They are far too technologically advanced to use primitive things like shoe laces... The shoes probably secure themselves with microscopic nano-bots or something...
