Simpsons Rip Off ROTJ and have been for years?

Without actually listening to the Treehouse music, I would simply say the The Simpsons parodies quite a bit of popular culture.

In fact, that is the basis for most of its humor.

As long as we're on the subject of the Simpsons parodying popular culture, I think a great final episode would be Bart battling Homer for the job of plant safety manager in Mr. Burns' office. Maybe with inanimate carbon rods.

One of the guys we see earlier in the Throne room trying to curry the Emperor's favor is Smithers.

The conflict has to be between Bart and Homer, IMO.

Mr Burns is obviously a Sith Lord. Look at how thoroughly he turned Santa's Little Helper. Before Bart's basic goodness turned his beloved friend back.
