Sith Lords - Prestige Class Glitch

I'm playing KOTOR II as a dark jedi guardian, the whole point was to try the game out as a sith maurader for once, but I'm past level 15 and Kreia hasn't spoken about "the time for masking my presence coming to a close"

Is this a glitch? Is it different for guardians or was I supposed to do something...?

As soon as you reach level 15, and Visas Marr is in your party, you can talk to Kreia and gain your prestige class.

Well, I have Visas with me and I'm past level 15, but when I talk to her nothing is different. This never happened before but this time I'm playing as a guardian, and I am visiting the planets in a manner different from my usual pattern, so am I missing something here?

 

hmm, I am not sure if its a glitch but just wait till you get to lvl 16 and see what happens.

 

Have you gone through every possible dialogue with Kreia?

 

I'm already at level 18...

I guess not, is that the problem?

 

I after Telos, Dantooine and the Dxun dance we bedded. I had full day side alignment during Telos. Figure around level 15 and 1/3 of the game by then.

 

If you alignment is clearly on one side, it could be a bug. If you are closer to being neutral, it's certainly no bug. You will only get to chose a prestige class, if you are either 75% dark or light (at least I think it was that numbe).

 

I've noticed it only works for me on the Ebon Hawk. Not that that helps much.

Yeah, same thing happened to me too one time, just reload a previous save game

 

You're alignment must be 75% one way or another.

 

Yes, your alignment must be 75% in one side of the force.

Here's a tip.

Choose at the start of the game if you want Lightside or Darkside.

If you choose lightside then be a goody two shoes and score as many lightside points as you can.

If you choose darkside then be a total bad dude.
Score all the darkside points you can.
i found that in my mad quest for darkside points, I lost influence with other characters (especially kreia).
Visas However, is different, I have so much influence with her, I could hop into bed with her

Actually, you can be a dark-sider and still have credibility with the rest of the crew. Except maybe Bao-dur, I haven't figured out how to get that much influence with him except by being so good that even I find me sickening.
The thing with Kreia is that, as a Grey Sith (see me invent new terms!), she wants you to be a Grey Jedi/Sith. If you listen to & agree with her in conversation, you will generally move toward neutral.
This can be very useful. On my last play through (Dark Side), I was only slightly evil - thought short tempered - up till about the time I got done with Nar Shaada (my first Jedi Master planet). I didn't fight wassisname and avoided most of the planetary quests I didn't need in order to find him. Those I couldn't avoid, I did as a goodguy (and got major points with Breianna - yes, we're on a firstname basis & even engaged lol) and managed, through various random means, to get enough influence with Atton to turn him to a Jedi/Sith (he's very crazy - I'm still not sure how you get influence with him). Then I let Kreia drag me around a bit and otherwise went all out.

At the end of the game, I had Atton, Breianna, Visas, and Mira as my Sith underlings. I haven't figured out how to get Canderous Mandalor to even speak to me, so nothing there whether he can become a Jedi or not.

But yea, it just takes a bit of cleverness and planning to get what you want.

 

Mira can be a jedi

I thought Bao-Dur was easy to gain influence with, just talk about the war a lot, and I dont think Canderous can be a jedi, but I didnt know Mira could so I am probibly wrong

 

That 75% Dark or Light factor was my problem, while I was leaning dark it wasn't enough. I guess I was feeling merciful this game...

I'm restarting anyway, I want my prestige class at 15.

By the way, it's easy to gain influence with other characters, just tell them what they want to hear regardless of your alignment (Hanharr was an exception).

 

Canderous is a Mandalorian, therefore can not be a jedi.

Mira is the only one in three games that I haven't been able to turn into a jedi though.

 

Keria is extreamly hard to influence as you dont know if her next opinion you is going to edge towards the LS or DS, also sometimes i think she doesnt agree with anything you do, LS or DS.

 

Whatever influence you lose with Kreia, the "Close your eyes" conversational glitch aboard ship can be repeated until her Kreia's Fall movie is activated.

 

I have now trained Atton, Mira and Handmaden (still dont know her name) but I cant train Bao-Dur, I have only done it once before, I have already completed the Dxun level and the war on Onderon but when I talk to him all I can say is "never mind", is there something that I missed?

 

Just have him with you for any mechanical repair work you might need, like the speeder repair on Nar Shadda. Him and Rand. He's a Guardian; but what good does Jedi-ing your party make? By the time you do, most of the game is over, and their powers are weak, and you'l kill all screen enemies before they do one, right?

Pfft.

 

Training the Handmaden is usefull though, for the fight with Atris, I played that part yesterday and it only took 2 strikes of the Handmaden's saber to defeat Atris

 

So far with my two play throughs, I've only managed train Atton and the Handmaiden. Next its time for me to train the Diciple. Speaking of him, how do I get him to come along with me? After I discover him on Dantooine, he just stays on Dantooine and doesn't offer to come along with me.

Maybe it is because I goto Dantooine as one of my last levels. This time however, after Telos, Dantooine is going to be my first planet.

 

The Disciple will only go with you if you play as a female character.

 

I heard he doesn't do much.
