So whats the rules when attempting to date the boss's daughter

anyway, my boss my service writer has a very beautiful daughter. Shes twenty one. NOt just a beauty but she has this glow about her. She really brightens up the day when she shows up at work. Shes like a breath of fresh air when she comes in. Makes everyone happy. Well are there any rules I should follow or should I even attempt to ask her out on a date. I know for one I need his permission.

well this is a very delicate situation if I were you hell no shes off limits, now if you had a good relationship with your boss you might have a shot at her but could end up being fired because you broke her out because its not working out

Beez I would be very careful about this, you need to find a way to broach the subject with him and let him know you have an interest in dating his daughter, but if you want to do this as an easier way invite her out for coffee after work and just use it as a friends chat and nothing else, just find out if shes right for your or not

I think we're getting ahead of ourselves here. The first thing we need to know is: Do you really think you have a viable chance with her? I mean, really, shouldn't you be asking our advice only if it has a chance of happening? (I'm not saying it doesn't, I'm asking whether it does or doesn't. And so far there's been no substantial proof of anything happening other than what's going on in your head, other than what you obviously want to happen on some level.) My guess is that you're over-analyzing things and asking our advice so that you can avoid taking action either way. But maybe that's just me projecting, 'cause I know I avoid taking action a lot of the time.... (Recently I didn't have to take much action to get what I wanted and I was thinking, "Dammit, it's about time I get something for nothing!" And then I looked back on it, and there were a lot things that I did to get myself into this relationship with this girl. I just say go for it, **** what your boss thinks. Just be really careful and polite to your boss. Hide it from him. I'm sick of people weighing consequences in a way that they ere on the side of safeness and caution. I think most of us all need to live a little more. You can always get another job. To me, a Star Wars fan getting some, if only just ONCE, is worth risking steady employment over.
