So, why are so many foreign women gorgeous?

Yes, I know. This is a terrible, sexist, misogynist, woman-objectifying question. It's also quite honest. I'm not the most well-travelled person in the world, but I've seen a decent share of it. In Prague, Poland, Austria, Germany -- waiting in the subway, walking down the street, in buses, trams, stores, wherever -- there are just models walking around. Not every single one is gorgeous, but literally 85-90% of them are. In Israel -- again, the majority of women (young women, at least) are stunning, although (in the cities, at least (and not in the orthodox areas, obviously)) often in a much more blatant, revealing, skintight fashion than their European counterparts. Go to England, France, Ireland -- the percentage of stunning women isn't quite as high, but they at least tend on the whole to be in great shape, and a good number of them wear nice but attractive clothing. And then back here in America, and sure every once in a while you'll see a gorgeous woman walking by -- probably more often in certain larger cities, or in large young populations such as college campuses -- but there's definitely a much, much higher percentile of homelier women. Even if you discount the 25% (or whatever it is) of the population that's obese, the fit American population for some reason is not as overall as attractive as the foreign population. Why is this? Are the genes for beauty simply less prevalent in America? Or have I simply soon too few areas in foreign countries to get a proper grasp of the attractive percentage of the population? What gives?

 

Foreign women are gorgerous because they're foreign.

I am going to agree, only changing foreign "women" to foreign MEN. There are alot of hot guys that aren't American I've noticed as well.

Oh and don't even get me started on the accompanying accents!!

Don't take this harshly Americans, but all my friends who've lived in the states say the same thing. Appearantly you've got a lot of ugly/homely women there, no offence.

EDIT: Heh, oh yea, and when a friend of ours from the states was over here, he went, oh look at the hot girl like every 5 seconds, even when they weren't that hot by normal standards.

 

My senior year of high school, a girl was at our school who was French-Canadian.

She was absolutely beautiful and had the smoothest, sexiest accent i had ever heard...I was smitten. But, she was only there for the year, so...meh

she still emails a friend of mine though... i'll have to see how she is doing, through my friend...if i can find her number lol

The reason foreign women and/or men seem more attractive is probably because it's someone who is unique compared to the people we interact with everyday. I know a lot of the ladies down here have that annoying Okie accent.

I don't know about that -- a lot of the time, mutts are very attractive. Take me, for instance.

Really, though, people with more diverse backgrounds often look very exotic and very good. Also, they're probably good for the gene pool in general.

I think you've got that backwards Comet. They get worse genes because their genes are similar, someone who is all German is more closely related to someone who is 1/2 German and say 1/2 French.

I don't know where you got that rumor from. It's terrible - we even get those annoying TV shows about it all the time...
