Qi'ra seems to have some sort of double barrel blaster in the bottom corner....and we get another Falcon cross section.

 

The more I see the outfits in this movie, the more I think this is going to be a cosplayer's dream come true.

Ep 9 will reveal that when Alderaan was destroyed, the capital was shrunk down and saved in a bottle. As was Hosnian Prime. It all makes sense

 

I think we know where tiny Aldera is.

 

Obviously, this helmet is made to accommodate a Lepi's ears.

 

That would be EPIC!!!

 

I really hope that the Falcon won't be the only cross-section artwork, since the cover is pretty vague about it.

 

At this point I can't even begin to guess how many Aduba-3 shoutouts are going to be in this thing. We live in strange times.

Nice references to the Han and Lando adventures. Xim is back in canon, if he wasn't before. And it looks as though we're getting a character from TPM--Warwick Davis seems to be reprising his role as Weazel.

So basically the Han Solo Adventures and the Lando Calrissian Adventures could be canon books if one wanted?

Those, like a lot of during-the-OT spinoff stuff (not really "EU" at the time) are so self-contained and lore-light little pulp adventures that they're always going to be fairly easy to shoehorn. It's telling that stuff like Jaxxon and the "Cloudriders" (in name at least), bits from the Han and Lando novels, and even Mimban are the things that are showing up these days; whimsical one-offs are a lot easier to canonize (although SOTME was clearly not even "canon" by the time 1980 rolled around).

 

It still got canonized as part of the C-Canon, since it did not require that much effort to do so.

 

Amazon shipped my copy. Loved the movie, can't wait for the guide!

Having seen the movie, possibly, with some of the names changed. More likely they're Lando's personal fan fiction, though.

Wasn't Xim already mentioned in the NewCanon? Eh, even if so, another mention can't hurt.

Xim was already mentioned in the TLJ Visual Dictionary. IIRC the section on the Supremacy explains how it dwarfs other historically massive ships, and mentions recreations of Xim's flagship.

I like that the crystal skull in Vos's office is clearly a reference to the cover of Han Solo and the Lost Legacy.
