Spider-Man 3: Speculation, Wishes and Facts

Shown at E3 earlier this week was a trailer showing the new spidey in-game model for next gen consoles.

What villains/heroes do you want to see?

More costumes with more abilities like in the old spidey ps1 game?

BIGGER city?

'tighter contolling'- i liked the Ultimate Spider-Man game controls, but they shpuld have kept the sprint button from spidey 2.

Your thoughts- what would make the game a 'classic'. Does it need to improve drastically from the spidey 2 game system...or is it good enough as it is?

In fact, there's only one thing this needs to do differently from Spider-Man 2 to be a great game.

Be released on PC in unaltered form! Seriously, what's up with the PC versions of Spidey games? We haven't gotten anything but Ultimate Spider-Man in a form that's actually playable. Why do they develop these separate, worthless games for PC instead of giving us a good port of the console version?

there has to be more suggestions than this.

 

Make the game in real time mode. Harder villians to fight. Cut out the races. Have more landmarks.

 

Give it replay value! Spider-Man 2 had no replay value!

Costume changes like in the Spider Man for N64. That was a cool game!

 

I would say map detail would be the key, the great thing about Spidey 2 was being able to explore a huge city, they need to expand on that, I want to able to go into buildings and fight, break windows and climb into someone's apartment and kick their dog out the window! hehehe ; )

Be kinda of cool if you could play as some villians too, like the Shocker and Doc Oc. An online multiplayer mode would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I liked exploring the open city.

 

More of a variation in the random crimes

More costumes and possibly characters

Return to the Spider-Man 2 controls over the vastly inferior Ultimate Spider-Man controls

Remove the races

Make the city more free-roaming

 

What villains/heroes do you want to see? Spiderman (duh), Venom-Spidey, Venom, Green Goblin #2, Lizard/Doc Connor, Sandman

More costumes with more abilities like in the old spidey ps1 game? YES!! That would be awesome.

BIGGER city? Yes. And more variety of mission instead of just saving falling people, getting balloons, and beating up goons.

Bring back Spidey's Fantastic 4 Costume (aka "The Amazing Bagman") from the PS1 version of the 1st Spidey game. Also, Symbiote Spidey is a definite must (and, if I am correct and the gray Spidey I saw on the cover of some movie/toy magazine is their version, then they need to bring back the old school smooth, solid black with a single white spider version of that costume as well)

Villains: Venom. I could care less about the minor villains. And, unless they're keeping him in the stables for Spidey 4, Carnage.

 

Be nice if you could be one of the Goblins and fly around the city chucking pumkin bombs everywhere!!!!!!!!!
