Ssi-ruuk vs. Yuuzhan Vong

Wouldn't a story about the two races meeting each other (as opposed to have the YV just infiltrate the dinos and wipe them out) be interesting?

Apparently they'd really hate each other.

The trilogy was badly written. Zerg supper without the carrots. Vong masquerading as hunched over dinobots replete with pheromone cues and whistling dialect had the credibility of Biff Tannen in university. Truly disappointing for talented writers.

 

The fact that we never got a huge knock-down-drag-out war between the Ssi-ruu and the Vong will always be one of the biggest disappointments of the NJO for me. I'd been looking forward to it since the beginning, and what we got instead was kriffing weak sauce.

Same goes for the Yevetha ... I will forever be pissed that they were destroyed offscreen.

I enjoyed the trilogy otherwise though.

 

i dunno... the lizardmen really seemed to be a prob for a small section of the galaxy. the vong were an intergalactic invasion force. the geckos should have there tails handed to them.
