    Hi Guys,

I don't want to make this a trek forum or anything, but I was wondering... how many of you guys are Star Trek fans? Do any of you belong to the Star Trek fan group?

I have been a Star Trek fan for 30+ years! I love TOS, but have come to enjoy the spin-offs. There was Star Trek before Star Wars....so the transition was easy because of the earlier Trekkie mindset.

I have been a Trek fan for a little under 30 years. I am also a founding member of the USS Anasazi, the Albuquerque chapter of Starfleet International. Starfleet boasts 3808 members in 247 chapters across the globe at present.

hehe, born and raised. born and raised a trekkie. My mom is an avid fan and I was raised on the series. I absolutly love the shows-not so much the movies anymore.

I actually tried to found a ship/club as part of Starfleet when i lived in the San Jose-to know success... and had a yahoo group when i lived in Sactramento-USS Sacto.

Anyone else have the Things I Need to KNow about life I learned from Star Trek poster?

Cool.... I asked for info about the Albuquerque chapter, but I was nervous about going to a meeting where I didn't know anyone....

I am sorry I have to get picky about this, but Kristal, you are not a founding member of the Anasazi. The founding members are those who were members at our commissioning on Aug. 25, 2001 . I appologise if this sounds harsh. I just want to get the facts strait.

Uh..I think Arian was referencing a line from your post in the New Member thread...I don't think she meant that she was a founding member - just a miscommunication there.

    Good call, Wook.

Earl, it does appear she was quoting your post...

FYI, for all members, if you are quoting a previous post, make sure you put it in italics, quote your source with something like:
    [Brotherhalo said]
or ANYTHING that shows you are quoting a post. That way we don't have any miscommunication.

    That is all... ;)

    Absolutely. For example:

Q: Who were the founding members of the USS Anasazi, the Albuquerque chapter of Starfleet International?

A: "Who gives a sh**?" - Triumph the Insult Comic Dog

The only Star Trek series I haven't liked so far is the one they're doing right now.
