This is where the fun begins

 

Yes, please.
I say the same thing when a new series is announced or the premiere gets closer: I'm more excited about this show than any other.
I said it about Obi-Wan. And again about Andor. Now, I'll say it about Ahsoka. Everything that I've read, the hype from the trailers, the fact that Dave Filoni is the creative force behind it, and that he's had 3 seasons of experience on the Mandalorian to improve his craft, makes me think this show is going to really, really, hit it out of the ballpark.

Let's hope it does!

 

I'm actually glad now that it will be airing in August rather than earlier; since I have a planned week-long trip at the end of this month and I don't want to miss an episode the day it airs.

 

When we had that long list of upcoming shows revealed at the Investor's Day presentation back in 2020, this was the show I was most excited to see. And now it's finally happening! Can't wait.

 

Meh it looks good but then again so did Obi Wan and that turned into one of the biggest sithfest I’ve ever seen.

Orange gals show could very well be the end of the line fan wise for me.

 

Wow! I was totally not expecting it when at the end of the pilot episode Ahsoka changed her last name to Skywalker.

 

Sight unseen, this feels like it could be the most consequential season of any Star Wars series to date.

 

I am just glad we are getting more of the rebels characters. And perhaps a chance to see my favorite Star Wars character one last time. Captain Rex

 

And then Andor looked good and was good. So, yeah. It could go both ways. But I like what I see so far.

 

Chances are I will like it. I haven’t disliked any of the shows yet. Liked them to different levels but not disliked them more than I liked them

And then also Kenobi looked good and it ended up being the best SW live action show, so yeah, it can go any way really.

But it will probably drop Kenobi to the 2nd place and replace it as the best SW live action show.

 

I will savor every moment with Ray Stevenson's Baylan Skoll. I him immediately.

 

I liked Kenobi too. More than many, it seems. Not as much as you did, though.

 

Take the inquisitor stupidity out, Obi-wan was a great little short series. Andor was phenomenal but started really, really, really slowly and up until season 3 of Mando, that show was phenomenal too and even in season 3, there were some really great moments. The only live action series so far to really bomb for me was TBOBF but it also had those fantastic eps of Mando wedged in. So all signs point to this show being t worst fun and at best, one of the best Star Wars experiences we have ever had.

 

I loved Obi-wan. It had some bad writing and directing, but overall I thought it was awesome. I really hope we get a Leia show in a few years showing us how she becomes fully involved with the rebellion. I'm thinking Ahsoka is going to be great too. Can't wait.

 

Let's hope this is better than the live action version of Pinocchio.

No one has spoken about the elephant in the room. When Skoll stabs the guy and says he is no Jedi, that guy clearly survives because anyone who isn't a Jedi using a light sabre and stabbing someone these days does not result in killing them.

So, we will have a new entrant to the stabbed but not fatally list:
- Cal
- Reva
- Reva
- Grand Inquisitor
- Old Guy in Ahsoka trailer

 

Cal has actually been stabbed and or slashed by a lightsaber twice.

 

Have we forgotten the genesis of this "sort of" trend; Maul?

 

I feel like this show is going to be centered around Sabine much more than people realize to the point she is essentially a title character

If she proves to be a hit with fans I predict she will get her own show, possibly a movie

 

I am all for it. She was my favorite character in rebels and is my 3rd favorite original animated character.
