    I've just begun wondering why is it there are so many humaniod species based on the life-form known so commonly on earth for it's hopping, nose-wiggling and innumerable offspring?

    We have the venerable Kushiban.

    The telepathic (and oh so fluffy) Hoojib

    [image=http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/d/d1/Hoojib.jpg]

    And of course, the infamous Lepi

    [image=http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/thumb/e/e9/Jaxxon-gamer.jpg/250px-Jaxxon-gamer.jpg]

    So I'm beginning to wonder? Why are there so many races that resemble these fluffy mammals? Why are there so many differences in their levels of dimorphisim? Is there perhaps another race of humanoid lepus somewhere out there in the far reaches of a galaxy far, far away, just waiting to be discovered?

    If so, may the Force help us all.

    Perhaps the Celestials seeded the galaxy starting from the Lucky Rabbit constellation outward.

    Don't forget the Gerb either, although the Yuuzhan Vong may have wiped them out after being frustrated with this exact same question.

    If it helps, there aren't nearly as many rabbit-like aliens as there are cat and squid-like ones...
