Lit A/V Star Wars: Beyond Victory - VR Podracing Game

Didn't see this announcement posted anywhere. I'm a huge fan of Star Wars: Episode I: Racer, so I've always had hope for another podracing game, but I can't help but be disappointed it's VR, and apparently exclusive to Meta headsets, which is the only headset I'll never purchase. Hopefully it gets ported to another headset later, or there's some way to bootleg it onto something not owned by Mark Zuckerberg.

I hope they use this as an opportunity to bring back some planets/characters from Racer that haven't been seen in canon. Mon Gazza, Fud Sang, Oovo IV; everything from that game has a special place in my heart.

 

ahhh, I don't know this just doesn't sound thrilling to me for some reason. Maybe if we get a couple of star wars movies and things look up I can say this is good but star wars has been kind of.......dull.

 

Ohhhhhh I loved that Racer game so much as a kid! Teemto was always my fav. I loved how unique all the planets were, and how some tied into the Bounty Hunter game (Oovo IV and Malastare). The PT had some great games. I hope they bring some of those old racers/planets back too. Ah nostalgia...

VR.... hm. I haven't booted up my Oculus in the last six months given... Zuckerbergian circumstances. Sigh. Guess I'll wait to see what folks say about it.
