Star Wars: Clone Wars/ Starcraft: Broodwar Crossover Plot-Bunny/Planning thread (all welcome!!!)

Ahhh get it off! *turns around to show a plot-bunny clinging to the back of my head*

Now i have an idea thanks to another topic *points acusingly at ''Help with a "Crossover"(?) fic...''*

What if StarCraft took place in the Uknown regions and the battle between Terran/Protoss VS Zerg had expanded into the Clone Wars Era (about two months into.)

Rising to the new threat the Terrans and Protoss quickly meet with Jedi Ambassadors and form an alliance, the Republic gain more Manpower and veihcles in the war, not to mention the Jedi and Protoss each explore eachothers understanding and teaching of their powers.
The Terran and Protoss both gain more chance of wining the seemingly hopeless war and huge leaps in technolegy.

Helping eachother in their battles, the Republic and their new Allies both start winning their Wars.
Some of their most well known war hero's being Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jim Rayner, and the protoss Zeratul.

Unknown to the Allies though, is that the Confedracy and Zerg, recognising the fact they are swiftly losing ground, form a deadly alliance, and both Count Dooku and the Zerg Leader/genaral: Kerrigan recognising eachothers backstabbing aspects, both realise there can be no betrayals, or both lose.

Will Palpatine face an incredibly excrusiating death from the Zerg?

Will Anakin stay in the light? (yup, if i write it anyway.)

Will Obi-Wan actually try and be a nice master/good friend to Anakin?

Will Jim get his love Kerrigan back from her current state?

Can Anakin and Padmes marrage stay secret in the face of even more terror than the Clone Wars?


I may start this, but as with my others, it may never get fisnished, but if i had help i could most likely keep going, so any writers who want to help out are welcome to Wanna help to give it a go?

 

I've actually thought about a Starcraft/Star Wars crossover. Never actually wrote it, though. And I was gonna do it in the NJO timeframe, not the CW. But it is an interesting idea

 

ah yes. If there was to be a SW/SC: BW crossover, you could probably count me in. I've played SC since forever, and I still play it up until now. Heres a list of pretty much all the heroes worth mentioning, and their status.

I think thats basically all that needs to be covered in terms of SC heroes and characters. I know some of the names are hard to recognize, but I've decided to bunch in the SC characters that I know from the SC EU. As such, Taldarin, Eredas, Gui Montag, Tom Kazantsky, Mojo, Ulrezaj, and Danimoth didn't make appearances in any of the Main SC campaigns, but they were characters in a smaller Blizzard-made SC campaign (They were characters in the bonus campaign called "Enslavers")

As for the storyline... hmm, I dont know. I think it would be interesting enough just to see the Protoss and the Jedi meet up, primarily because they have some of the same powers (Protoss Psionics = The Force?) but the protoss seem to have power on a much grander scale. Most all Protoss tech is powered by their latent psionic abilities. the Zealot power suit for example, can generate a powerful shield as well as two lightsaber-esque energy blades from each arm, and the suit is powered only by the wearer's psionic energies.

Also, seeing Protoss philosophy stacked up against Jedi philosophy would make for an interesting study... The Jedi avoid all ties, attachments, and emotions as not to be "vulnerable". The Protoss throw that all out the window, because from the very beginning of Protoss history, the familial ties within the Tribe has always taken prominence over any other vow. The Protoss also hone their emotions to empower them. The Zealot uses a great deal of frenzied zeal and anguish. Higher level warriors such as High Teplar and Dark Templar are less emotional, but the epitome of the templar power, the Archons and Dark Archons, are raging beings composed almost entirely of psionic energies.

Ah, Yea! i ment Zeratul, not Tasadar, i always liked the Dark Templar best

Yea, though the Jedi seem to have more 'precise/fine' control, thats what i mean that they could exchange ideas and examine eachothers Religions/Ways.

The Protoss Warriors could benifit from the Jedi, and the same the otherway around, but it would be harder fot the Jedi with the Darkside and all.

Wanna turn this into a planning thread were intrested athours can write bits, we could all write little parts and follow on from eachothers posts, then edit them to fit toghether better, before posting them?

If we do i call writing the Anakin parts

SC: G will be cool and all, I mean i will buy it for shure, but I REALLY want them to begin working on SC II.
