I've recently been watching every episode in a row from season 1 to season 3 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. I've seen two pretty big flaws in the timeline. One has to do with Ziro the Hutt. In the movie Star Wars the Clone Wars Ziro is arrested due to an altercation he had with Senator Amidala. He is imprisoned afterwards, however in Season 1 episode 22 entitled "Hostage Crisis" Cad Bane breaks him out while holding senators hostage in the Senate building. Then in season 3 episode 8 entitled "Evil Plans" at the end Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker visit Ziro in prison to get a confession. How did Ziro get back in prison? The next episode Ziro is seen in he is seen with the Hutts after his escape in Season 3 episode 9 the hunt for ziro. That timeline doesnt add up.

The second has to do with Senator Onacconda Farr. Hes the Rodian Padme call uncle Ono. He is poisoned and killed in episode 15 of season 2 entitled Senate Murders. He is then seen in Season 3 episode 11 pursuit of peace alive and well that doesnt make any sense to me! lol well ok thats all I have. And literally while I was typing this I noticed that each season has a title. season 1 The Clone Wars, season 2 Rise of the Bounty Hunters, and season 3 Secrets Revealed. knowing that maybe its possible the seasons are not being shown in a chronological order, but in a way for the plot to have to unfold and then be backtracked.

Also strange question, but do they ever explain when Ahsoka starts using 2 lightsabers?

Some good points made here, but we already have a couple of threads on this same subject -- see GGrievous's links below. -BC

There is no 'errors' - but Order of episodes is not chronological- that's confirmed- these episodes are prequels so some of them happen before season1 or 2 episodes it is complicated thing really but for example hostage crisis happens after Evil plans and just before Hunt for Ziro- Senate Murders from second season happens right after Pursuit of Peace- Ahsoka starts to use 2 sabers after Assassin but before Heroes on both Sides....

I was beginning to realize that as I was posting but confirmation helps. Thanks for the quick and speedy response. Also about Ahsoka do they ever give the reasoning for her using dual light sabers all of a sudden?

    They did, it's called fanservice.

Heh, I don't recall fans heckling LFL for Ahsoka to carry another lightsaber. If anything, it's anti-fanservice. :p

It's enough for me to hear that Anakin disliked Ahsoka's inverted grip, but she was so used to it Anakin decided to learn her to use shoto to better defend herself- this happened offscreen.....

If you're interested in timeline there is own thread for it- airing order seems to have not much to do with chronological order- even TODO is rebuilt and Holocron Heist happens before Evil Plans and Hostage Crisis( i always thought so due to Bane's "Skywalker!"-line in HC) - Lightsaber Lost however is prequel to Grievous Intrigue and so all seasons 1,2 and 3 are very mixed up after all, and official chronology is yet to be established by LFL....

According to TCW team, after the time-skip, the episodes are in chronological order. Shouldn't be a problem from now on.
