I always thought that there should be a website with instructions, tips/tricks, suggestions and links for all kinds of costumes. Perhaps it could even be hosted by TF.N. A thought, anyone?

    Try here:
    Padawan's Guide

Maggie has compiled a "How To" for most of Padme's Ep2 costume, Jedi costumes, and some other characters as well. She is always updating and is a pretty comprehensive guide to SW costuming (especially Ep2) with excellent photos.

There are many other helpful sites out there with tutorials and such. The threads here also have invaluable information and tips. To try to encompass all star wars costumes into one simple easy to use thread may not be that easy. There are just so many out there, with so much detail.

There's also jedibitch.com, which is my site that I'm doing just that with, and then journaling my and my sewing group's experiences making them :)

i think instead of a single thread or website with a how to for ALL the costumes would be a bit much to do at once, do-able, just something that seems monsterously large to tackle....

    BUT!!
if someone were to make such a website, why not just start out with an evergrowing index,... or actually just keep an index...
a roadmap i suppose, i can never just find something in here that's burried, it's kind of difficult... if it were just an index, everything would be organized and there wouldn't be a ton of server space just duplicating everyone's existing information...

i might be up to making an index solo or jointly if i have the time/space
