Just an FYI Atjeh, please don't write up posts like this that sound like advertisements...I had some people that alerted me just in case.

I appreciate you trying to get us all onto one server early, I was a beta tester for Ultima Online so I know how bad server splits can be to a group. I'm not sure that I'll be on with the money situation...when the money is taken care of my fiancee will be turning into a wife, so I'm not sure she's going to let me play all that much, I'm already addicted to aircraft ;)

If you want us to get together in game then please stick around the board and get to know us, you're welcome here.

Well, I was going to just leave it alone and go away but I feel compelled to respond.

I?m not a board posting type of guy, I?m a gamer. I have browsed posting forums for a long time and I?ve come to the conclusion that they attract bitter, pessimistic individuals. Sure there is a silent majority, like myself, who use forums for information for all sorts of topics. But most of the time, the deeper I browse into a community the less I like what I see.

I do consider myself jaded to the whole posting experience but it isn?t from inexperience that I make my judgments. Posting forums allow you to either write the best compliments or the worst insults and flames. The emotion you write out on your end doesn?t always translate to the monitor on the other side and that?s what makes them flawed.

Like my post my intentions were jovial and sincere open arms welcome to all who were interested, but since I?m not a part of your community they were suspect. I personally don?t want to spend the time proving myself nor do I feel the need to do it.

If I catch anyone online that would be great, if not I can take it or leave it.

I think I?ll make my quiet exit before I cause the summoning of any more admins?

Atjeh, I'm sorry your forst thread here didn't go well. :( We really have a great group here, and you'll find that although we are a tight-knit group, there's ALLWAYs room for new people to join in. [face_love]

We were all new at one time or another, but the PFF is a great group of people, and I think that if you met us in real life, we'd get along fine.

We've got all kinds of interests, from costuming to gaming, to just plain rabllerousing and having fun. There's even a LAN party going on this Friday night (I guess that's tonight, isn't it??? ;) )

At any rate, please don't judge the group by your first experience here tonight. It takes a bit of time to get to know the eccentricities of any group, whether online or not. Each group has it's own personality, and sometimes it helps to just get to know people before jumping right into... whatever it was that you posted originally.

I'd like to invite you to our social thread here and offer you a drink. :D I think that if you try and get to know us, and give us a chance to get to know you, you might have a different view of the online message board experience.

Trust me --most of our folks here are anything but pessimistic types. ;)

I hope you give us a shot. ;) Now I need to go to bed. That 7AM wake up call is going to be rought. :_|
