The Mining Guild's team of mercenary pirates has developed the codes to create a deadly chemical weapon, one that can deplete the natural resources of a planet. When used, the wielder of the weapon will be able to deprive entire populations of oxygen and water, killing any fauna and sources of food. This sector of the Mining Guild is operating on the planet Malastare, and the pirates have offered to sell the codes to the Sith. They are heavily biased against the Jedi due to their meddling in free enterprise and insistence on the maintenance of galactic laws in conducting business practices.
One of the Sith Empire's Circle Lords, Darth Hunger @darthbernael is traveling to meet with representatives of the Mining Guild to purchase the codes. Either the pirates or the Sith could betray one another, we do not know. The Jedi's best hope is to negotiate a better offer with the Mining Guild so that they do not sell the plans to the Sith. The mercenaries working for the Mining Guild responsible for this weapon's creation do not like the Jedi, but we have to try to solve this peacefully first. We will not likely be able to prevent violence from breaking out, but we will not be responsible for its ignition.
Three Jedi are traveling to Malastare to prevent the codes from falling into Sith hands, @Force of Light , Neo Serpenter @Dark Ferus, and his Padawan Carrot @SirCarrot
Our plan is to stop a galactic catastrophe before it can begin.

Bio: Neo Serpenter was raised by miners on Kessel, his parents having died young. Neo showed Force sensitivity at a young age, but was not detected by the Jedi until a tragic incident occurred.

A terrorist attack by raiders blew up the mine where Neo and his guardians worked, killing almost everybody. Serpenter’s Jedi senses allowed him to escape the blast and hide from the bandits searching for survivors.
Neo was discovered by the Jedi when they came to investigate the incident and took him to be trained.

    Name: Mer-el Siewu
    Age: 28
    Species: Togorian
    Homeworld: Togoria
    Affiliation: Sith (Apprentice/Acolyte)

    Appearance:

    Force Sensitivity: Yes
Personal Effects: Survival gear, encrypted comm, hidden cargo to be brought to the Council, various items to keep a low presence from other Force users.
    Personal Starship: Triwing S91X Pegasus
    [IMG]

Personal Weapon: Two lightsabers, one standard and one shoto, both a deep crimson. A ST-W48 blaster rifle kept slung over his back.

    Bio:

Mer-el had been born on Togoria, as almost all of his kind were. At a young age, he was recognized as having Force ability but, his band of male warriors having been bonded with the Mandalorians, he was recognized by the Sith before the Jedi. The natural hunting and stalking abilities of his kind aided him as the one who had found him was quite brutal in his training.

As he aged and grew, became a lithe hunter and warrior, his Master began to send him on missions where a robust, nearly indestructible warrior was needed. Togorians, due to their high internal density, were able to absorb more damage than most sentients, so battle was their way. Having razor sharp claws on the ends of their hands and feet didn’t detract from that either.

The current mission he’d been sent on by his Master was one of extreme sensitivity. Many of his missions brought him to obscure, remote, or thought destroyed temples or loci of the Force. This one was no different, he’d been sent to retrieve a relic that his Master had discovered the location of. He’d managed to retrieve it with little difficulty and was now taking a moment to relax and let the minor wounds he’d received on a forested planet, Malastare, before he returned home to the Council.

    Force Sensitivity: Yes

Personal Effects: Comlink, medical pack, rations bars (carrot flavored), basic survival equipment

Personal Starship: Z-95 Head hunter, modified with hyperdrive

    Personal Weapon: Single blue lightsaber

Bio: Born to poor factory workers in a slum on Bothawui, Carrot had little prospects for life from the moment of his birth. His force-sensitivity was not discovered until a nasty bout of childhood illness at four, which caused caused his parents to take him to a real doctor for the first, and where a routine midichlorian check was performed. When it was discovered that he was gifted in the force, his parents were loath to give him up, but consented as it would allow Carrot a better life than what he would had otherwise. Taken to the temple, Carrot grew up as a youngling and eventually achieved apprenticeship.

If our Jedi comrade is otherwise occupied, then a single Master-Padawan pairing can also work for this mission.

Sorry for the delay, I forgot to check this thread the last time I logged on.

    Name: Jira Elnath
    Species: Human
    Age: Around 35
    Homeworld: Deyer
    Affiliation: Guardians of Light
    Appearance:

    Force Sensitivity: yes
Personal Effects: Mostly survival gear (ration bars, med kits, thermal blanket, grappling hooks, bottled water, etc.) that she obtained from her rescuer
    Personal Starship: none
    Personal Weapon: blaster
Bio: Jira was captured and taken prisoner to Corellia to work in the mines when she was in her mid teens. Adventurous teen that she was (for reasons that she still doesn't quite understand), she was often caught trying to come up with crazy scenarios on how to escape and go back to her homeworld, even though her homelife wasn't that much different than it was as a prisoner on Corellia. Jira finally got her chance at freedom when one Han Solo and a wookie by the name of Chewbacca (or Chewie for short) also got themselves captured and forced to work in the same mines as Jira.

She never thought that she would seek out the life of a Jedi if one of her captors didn't do what she thought was a joke at the time and accuse her of being force sensitive. "Me? Force Sensitive?" Jira mocked, "You must be running a foul of Jedi Knights, and you think that anyone that's a little different of having these 'divine' powers, because I can tell you right now, that someone is not me. I come from a world with very little gravity, no moons, and swamps and lakes for crying out loud!" Even as she was saying this, it made Jira curious enough about the Jedi and their ways that she was often intrigued by the idea, but was unsure if she had the potential. For starters, wasn't she too old? But then again, so were both Anakin and Luke Skywalker, and though she wasn't planning on going down the same path as Anakin (didn't he turn into Darth Vader or something), but what about Luke? she often wondered.

OOC: Welcome aboard, @Force of Light . It sounds like you and I have similar backstories.
    IC:
A Jedi consular ship appears out of lightspeed over the planet Malastare.
Neo checks the coordinates of their destination on the data screen.
“Remember,” he says, “Our first objective is to negotiate peacefully, even if our quarry are criminals. If we can avoid the outbreak of violence, we must. That is why we must finish this job before the Sith get involved.”

The ship flies closer to the surface of the forested and mountainous world. Neo flies them closer to the coordinates where the Mining Guild base is located- just between a mineral-rich rocky valley and the wealthy city district where the mercenary pirates use the weapons that they construct to trade with the richest arms dealers and mob leaders.

“This isn’t a planet friendly to the Jedi,” Serpenter says, “So we will have to blend in as we land.”
To his Padawan, he says, “Remember to concentrate on the living moment. We have a fixed purpose here with high stakes involved. You must not get distracted.”

Responding, Carrot states, “I shall do my best, Master, these criminals are nothing compared to the Sith.” As the ship moves in for descent he does a final check on his equipment, ensuring he is ready for the mission. While doing this, a sense of foreboding comes upon him, but he resists it. Remember, stay in the moment.

Serpenter pilots the ship towards a remote cave within the mountains of Malastare.

“Just in case things go south and we are unable to safely get back to our consular ship, I’ve instructed our astromech droids to pilot our Starfighters separately. Since you do not have one, Jira, I loaned a Delta-7 for you that is flying alongside my Interceptor and Carrot’s Headhunter. Our droids are following us at a safe distance in the fighters. The Guild has a vast network of spies who could easily be camouflaging in the mountains. We’ll have to be careful going into the city.”

The Jedi pass through the thick, foggy clouds of Malastare and descend towards their programmed landing point. Serpenter reaches out with the Force, trying to sense danger ahead.

The mountainous terrain around the city and the valley was rich with foliage, trees crowding the slopes. Near the peak of a medium sized hill or small mountain, depending on your viewpoint, the branches of one tree waved slightly, a paw more than a hand moving it. Golden eyes peered from the shadows, the grey and black striping of the creatures hide making it blend into the shadows more.

An almost throaty growl comes from the being as it sees the unmistakable shape pass overhead. Mer-el had felt the currents of the Force shifting, a slight draw to the Light in them and he’d known the short vacation to rest and recover before heading back to the Temple was over. The Jedi had come, whether to seek out what he had in his possession or for other reasons but they were here.

His Triwing was hidden several valleys over, camouflaged and deep in a cave, with his astromech ensuring it was safe. As the Consular ship’s shadow passed over the Togorian reached within himself, focusing. He wasn’t trained enough to reduce his presence in the Force that much but his Master had trained him how to reduce the sense of his allegiance to the Dark Side.

”Damn Jedi…” Mer-el muttered, ”One day…if they’d waited one day…I’d be gone and on the way to the Sith Temple.” The branch shifted back into place as he released his grasp on it. The shadowy shape of the Togorian lithely dropped down the tree, through the branches, until he lightly landed on the forest floor. His paws rose, flicking the hood of his cape over his head, only his whiskers and feline nose poking out of it.

”I suppose I should watch them, add that intel to my report when I return.” Long canines showed as a smile crossed his face, ”Of course…bringing back the lightsabers of dead Jedis would be even better.” his tone filled with a primal desire to rend and destroy.

As the Jedi land in the cave, Serpenter feels a great disturbance in the Force.

"Do you two sense it as well?" he asks his fellow Jedi, "The Sith are here too. This is going to be far more difficult than expected. We'll have to beat the Dark Lord to get the codes, but we will be much harder pressed to keep the peace unless we avoid being hunted. I sense his murderous intentions and his Force intuition picking up on our presence. He could be watching us already."

Neo beckons his fellow Jedi out of the cave after him, deciding to wear the hood of his Jedi cloak over his head.
He points to a fortress in the distance, built into the mountain ranges. “This is the base of the Mining Guild, where the pirates are keeping the codes. Remember, we only use force (no pun intended) if we are attacked, but we must be on guard and ready to draw our weapons at a split second’s notice. Be ready to sense the intentions of the pirate. And we must hurry before the presence of the Circle Lord draws nearer.”

The Jedi were making it too easy. Their ship had slowed as it weaved its way among the crags, letting Mer’el follow at a distance. He had to tamp down his feral feelings at feeling the wavering of their energy in the Force. He swiftly realized, as his ears laid back against his skull, that part of that was that he’d not been as successful as he’d thought, in tempering his own presence in the Force and that any darker thoughts or emotions would be more like a beacon to them.

Having gotten a general bearing on the Jedi ship and the likely spots where it would set down, the Togorian found a small space between the towering trees, sinking down to his haunches, letting the sounds and movements of the forest fill his being. Taking deep breaths, in through his nose and out through his mouth he focused. All would be for naught if the Jedi could easily find him so, moment by moment, he touched the energy of the Force around him, felt its shape and texture and sublimated his own essence to more harmonize with the world around him, to disappear into the background noise.

”The eons old dance begins and I will let my nature guide me.” he whispered to the wind.

Even as the words left his mouth his body stilled its movements, ears laying back against his skull. The Jedi had emerged and the wind carried fragments of their words, letting him hear Mining Guild…codes…force…pirate… He kept himself still, only his vertical slit eyes following the Jedi, waiting until they were out of sight before he followed, now intrigued as to their purpose and whether it was something more valuable for the Sith to acquire.

Swiftly and quietly, the group moved forward, the fortress in the distance drawing ever closer. It gave off the usually ripples of filth and greed in the force, and Carrot found it quite unpleasant. Turning to Serpenter, he asked, “How do we plan to get inside, master?”

“Right now, we have nothing to hide,” Serpenter replies, “We must be ready to draw our weapons at a moment’s notice, but for now, there is no reason why we cannot commence our business as if nothing was wrong. If we immediateynresort to stealth, we will have made unnecessary enemies. Of course, we are hard pressed to expect good faith from either the mercenary pirates or the Sith, but for now let us show our own goodwill. We will keep our weapons concealed and approach their front gate. We will state our business to the sentries, but be ready for an ambush. This is where your Jedi reflexes will come in handy. You must maintain an appearance and aura of peace, but be ready for battle in a split second.”

As they approach the fortress, Serpenter directs his fellow Jedi towards the gate that leads them into the facility, where two Gran guards are posted, both armed with heavy blaster rifles.
Suddenly, Serpenter sensed a deadly ripple in the Force.

“The Dark Lord is watching us,” he said, “And he is listening to what we say. We might be facing a war on two fronts if the pirates choose to attack us. Let us hope that we can get the codes and leave before he reaches us.”

Serpenter guides his fellow Jedi through the slopes towards the fortress, finally stopping as the armed guards regard them and point their blasters.

Following the Jedi proved all too easy, their stink in the Force gave away their positions. Mer-el chose to stay out of their sight, to keep the trees and terrain between himself and them as they drew near the source of many life signs.

When the fortress came into view his ears flattened against his head again as he cocked it, taking in the structure. Slipping through the foliage, he left the exposed front of the structure to the Jedi, including the guards there. He could feel the darker intentions of the defenders and that caused his fangs to show for a moment as he looked for an opening, something he could use to slip inside.

Finally, waiting paid off as he used his acute hearing to time the movements of the guards. His claws slipped out on both hands and feet, sinking into the spaces between the blocks of the place, as he climbed the wall opposite the front gate. He had to pause from time to time to avoid the notice of the guards but soon he was atop the wall.

His head swiveled from side to side, seeing the backs of the guards to either side before he looked into the courtyard below. Seeing it mostly clear, he dropped to the ground below, his muscled haunches softening the landing and his hands drawing his cloak around him to fade into the shadows.

Following his nose, the scents that filled the air, and the touches of beings inside, he continued a slow approach, entering the fortress proper. The Jedi now behind him, he let himself have a moment of dark joy at that before he moved down corridor after corridor, heading toward the heart of the facility.

Nodding, Carrot responded, “I shall be…cordial.” Trudging up the steps tot he fortress, he could feel the dark lord as a constant itch a the back of his neck, he could never particularly feel where the lord was though.

Arriving at the gates, the guards halted them. “State your business with the Mining Guild.” While not overtly hostile, the guards had seemed to hold them with contempt, though Carrot always found it hard to tell with Gran.

Deciding to the lead, Carrot confidently replied, “We have business with the Guild.” Carrot gave a questioning look to his master, asking how much they should reveal.

Serpenter silently sends a message of praise to his young Padawan through the Force, proudly acknowledging Carrot’s use of diplomacy and tactic of caution. He would make a fine Jedi, Neo told himself. Everything they had undergone up to now had paid off.

Serpenter then spoke up, chiming in.
“We are here to reach a deal regarding the codes to the weapon your mercenaries have constructed. We understand that you plan to sell it to the Sith Empire. We are here to negotiate a counteroffer and purchase the plans instead. If you allow this weapon of mass destruction to fall into the wrong hands, the decision will come back to haunt you. The Sith will not spare you when it suits them to ravage your own planet with the tools you gave them. But if you consider our offer, we will compensate you more than fairly and ensure that business as usual can commence for all of us.”Serpenter felt dirty on the inside for presenting the business of the Jedi as equal to that of the criminal mercenaries and their financial backers. But he had to make the Guild see eye to eye with the Jedi.

The guard gave a short, gruff response.
“The Jedi exist to curb our operations, not to protect them. You aren’t fooling us with your diplomacy. We have nothing to talk about with so-called peacekeepers.”

Serpenter silently warned his fellow Jedi to be ready to draw their weapons at a moment’s notice.
Then he felt a dark and sinister chill in the Force.
The Circle Lord had already infiltrated the Mining Guild facility. He was getting those codes on his own terms, and Serpenter realized that the Jedi might have to, at least briefly, stoop to his level of trickery if they were to stop him. Finally, Serpenter decided that he would keep these two sentries occupied by mind-trick while he silently instructed Carrot to sneak past them.
Serpenter raised a hand and waved it, making his dirty move.

As his master waved his hand, the two guards faces took on a blank look, it wouldn’t last, but it was plenty enough time for Carrot to enter the facility. The central gate was not completely closed, and Carrot was able to slip in undetected. The floor plans for the facility had told of a small auxiliary gate on the other side of the building, it was unguarded, but locked from the inside. Making his way over to it, Carrot had to avoid various patrols and other occupants of the facility, by the time he had made his way over, 15 minutes had passed. Unlocking the door he was greeted by the sight of his fellow Jedi, “Shall we?” Carrot jokingly asked, gesturing towards the interior of the facility.

As the trio of Jedi ( @SirCarrot @Force of Light ) made their way through the passageway, a squadron of sixty armed warriors waited in the secret compartment hidden within the walls, invisible to the Jedi.

"Our strategy is to divide and conquer," the squadron leader explained to his unit, "When we ambush the Jedi, they will have an easier time deflecting our onslaught when together. That is why we must draw them apart and pick them off one by one. First, we will target the human Jedi. He is the more experienced one. When we separate him from his Padawan, they will be distracted trying to protect one another. This will allow us to finish them off."

OOC: Mer-el hasn't corrected that he isn't a Circle Lord, to anyone that has spoken to him as such as it adds to the Sith mystery, wouldn't back at the Temple but out there it assists his work.

A feline grin crossed Mer-el’s face as he felt the burst of emotions come from the main gate of the facility. He glanced back in that direction, eyes almost glowing with that light that most felinoids had in the dark, a low rumble in his chest at feeling the Jedi. Turning back, he reached his own senses out, his nose twitching, whiskers fluttering, as he tasted the air.

Nodding, he continued through the shadows until he came to a part of the facility brighter than other areas. Given the more prevalent amount of Mining Guild beings in the area, all armed, he supposed it was where they kept whatever treasure it was that the Jedi wanted. He paused, deep in a shadow near the space, studying the movements of those nearby and within.

Once he’d determined the patrol routes, he moved on silent feet, past and around those outside, closing the door of the central room behind him before turning and facing those within. His eyes glittered as he took them in, sure they would be surprised that someone not of the Guild had reached this far without being seen or heard.

”I have heard that you have something of value for sale.” With the last word, he reached out, towards the minds within, to convince them that he was the best choice of whom to sell whatever it was. ”You would be in the good graces of the Sith should you do so.” he purred, the unspoken threat of what could happen if they didn’t in his words.

The lead pirate, a tall Nikto, regarded the hulking figure of the Sith Circle Lord as he entered.

"We have been expecting you, Honorable Lord of the Sith," he said. "Welcome to our sanctuary, away from the infringement of the Jedi and their Republic of order. It will be an honor doing business with you."

The Nikto pirate waited for Mer-El's reaction, trying to figure out how much he would be willing to bargain. The Sith Empire was perhaps the wealthiest galactic entity, more so than the Republic given their means. The Nikto wanted to use this to the advantage of the Guild, but he did not want to draw the ire of the Sith in doing so.

A feline smile crossed Mer-el’s face. His stance shifted slightly, a portion of the tenseness in it melting away. ”Excellent. The Jedi tend to try to interfere and their stifling philosophy is a noose around the neck of the galaxy.”

With his physique he couldn’t truly cross his arms but he approximated the gesture. ”I know you are a business interest so…on to the negotiations. What are you desiring as a way of payment for what you have?”

The pirate leader answered, “You’ll recall the previously discussed fee of one hundred thousand credits. Since your council of Sith Lords and our Guild leadership last conferred, we have decided that such a small fee does no justice to the vast resources of the Sith Empire. With all the riches at your disposal, and the powerful weapon we are offering, we feel as though a fee of one million is more appropriate.”

The rest of the mercenaries and pirates of the Guild gulp in fear as their commander attempts to milk more money from the hulking Circle Lord.

“Big mistake,” one of them mutters, knowing that they are all most likely not long for this world.

A feline smile, all sharp teeth, crossed Mer-El’s face, listening to the leader. He’d expected such an attempt at negotiation but the leader was being a little too greedy. He knew he could sweeten the pot slightly without drawing the ire of the Circle but this was more than hair’s breadth more than slightly. ”Appropriate…such an interesting word…” he replied in a low tone, casually stepping closer.

Reaching a spot only a pace from the leader, the smile still on his face, he moved without using the Force, simply relying on his kind’s own predatory speed. His right arm lashed out, claws extended, to swipe those razor sharp talons across the leader’s throat. As his arm cleared the movement, he turned in a slow circle, eyeing the remaining pirates, ”Anyone else want to…negotiate?” he asked calmly.

The pirates gasp in fear as their unit leader collapses dead on the floor with a metallic clink.
The second is command for the unit is quick to say, “We’ll renegotiate for five hundred thousand…”

But one of the mercenary lackeys is stupid enough to open fire on Darth Hunger.
Of course, the shot has no chance of actually doing damage to the Circle Lord, but the lone gunman has likely death on not only himself, but his entire unit.
Meanwhile, the codes rest in a safe just beyond the perimeter formed by the assembled crew of Guild agents, easy for the Dark Lord to reach for and grab.

Mer’el’s toothy smile never diminished as the leader crumpled to the ground. Even the lackey firing on him mattered little, he took the shots, the pain as the bolts tore through the muscle of one arm and his leg only making him his as he embraced the pain.

His eyes glinted a dangerous red, ignoring the still panicked shots, reaching out with the Force to feel the door of the safe, to use his power to grasp the edges of the door and begin to pull, listening for the sounds of rending metal. ”You are smarter than the others.” he stated in a humored tone, to the second in command. ”I might allow you, of all here to live.”

The second in command of the unit shouts in a state of panic, “It’s on the house! Take it!” realizing it’s his best chance of survival. When the chips are down, he’ll put himself over the safety of any member of his crew. He’d have time to regain the lost money value, in good enough time. The other lives that the Sith would take are worth it.
“You can have them all too! Just spare me please! The codes are yours for free!”

The sounds of lightsabers clashing against blaster bolts grow louder as another unit of mercenaries engage the Jedi in combat.

The second in command pounds in the code to open the safe, eagerly grabbing the disk where the codes are kept and hurling it at the feline Circle Lord.
    “All yours, honorable Circle Lord!”

Hearing the sound of combat in the distance Mer-el grabbed the code disc out of the air, securing it in his belt. ”That is more acceptable.” he stated, his fangs showing again at his grin.

When he reached the door, he considered whether he should leave them alive or not but if the disc was that important the Order would want to keep the resources flowing for now. Ducking out of the door, he let the grin cross his muzzle again, seeing the Jedi in the distance. They were too late, probably had come for what he had now.

A shiver crossed over Serpenter’s spine as he turned his head to spot the Dark Lord @darthbernael carrying the disk.

Serpenter turned to his Padawan @SirCarrot and said, “The Sith Lord has the codes, but it’s not too late. We can still stop him from leaving.”

Serpenter widened his stance and gripped his lightsaber with both hands, preparing to Force-dash towards Lord Hunger as he stalked through the metal corridor.

All of the sudden, a hail of laserfire came out of the walls, as a panel opened to reveal a battalion of Mining Guild mercenaries.

The mercenary unit rushed at Serpenter as they fired their weapons, forcing him to back away from his Padawan and his Sith target. Neo deflected the laserfire from the Mining Guild warriors as he walked backwards.

The mercenaries attacking Serpenter had separated him from Carrot, who was standing between the mercenaries and Hunger. Serpenter continued to retreat until his back was against the wall, completely pinned by the blasterfire.

He watched Carrot intently, waiting to see if Carrot would decide to come to his aid or to go after the Sith Lord carrying away the plans to the deadly planet draining bioweapon.

Serpenter grunted in pain as a shot went into his shoulder. Continuing to deflect fire with his lightsaber, the Jedi Knight slumped against the wall to the ground as the mercenaries continued their onslaught.

Carrot stood frozen, indecision dominating his faculties as he considered the choices before him. On one hand, he could go after the Sith @darthbernael, on one hand, he might be able to stop him from escaping, and thus preventing the bioweapon from being used. Two main issues complicated this, however, for one, Hunger was a Sith Lord, Carrot was a mere apprentice, what could he hope to do? The second issue was much more wrenching, by going after the Sith, he would be leaving his Master, Serpenter @Dark Ferus to die.

I don’t want to make this choice.

    But he had to.

Casting one last glance at Hunger, Carrot leapt towards the mercenaries, slicing through them like only a lightsaber can. As he dispatched the last one, he ran towards his master, prying open a first aid kit, he set to bandaging Serpenter’s shoulder. Looking up, he froze.

Well that look can only mean one thing.

OOC: Sorry for taking so long, this past week has been hectic for various reasons.

Neo looked up as his Padawan began treating his wound.
“That was an impressive battle move, my pupil,” Serpenter said as Carrot applied a bandage to the blaster bolt.
He looked around grimly at the scattered bodies of mercenaries. Th Neo would have liked to take more time to reflect on the wages lives here, not only by combat but by their choices and circumstances that had led these pirates and mercenaries to an abrupt and brutal end. But now, the Jedi could not afford to dwell on such sentiments. Not with the emergency at hand and present danger still lurking.

“I appreciate your assistance, Carrot,” Neo said, “When we are safely out of this in one piece, I would like to sit down with you and have a reflection on this mission. But for now, we must get out of this enemy territory and stop the Circle Lord before it is too late.”

Under the bandages applied to him, Serpenter’s blaster wound still stings, but he pushes the pain out of his senses as he slowly slinks upward against the metal wall.

Serpenter then clips his lightsaber to his belt and gives his Padawan a friendly clap on the back.

“if anything else, I think you’ve proven yourself capable of handling a real world dangerous scenario, young Carrot. And you are also a good friend in need to a fellow Jedi. Now, let us continue our mission, before the Sith Lord makes it out with the bioweapon codes.”
