SWRPF Archive Star Wars: Knights of the New Republic, Part 1, Mandalore Rising

It has been 50 years since the absolute fall of The Galactic Empire, and the beloved characters of the movies are mere memories.
Deep in space on an uncharted world, previously the site of a great Dark power, The Star Forge, a former Bounty hunter, Kysh Makk, has crushed opposition and took the title, Mandalore. All the clans in the galaxy have returned to Mandalore and rallied around him. Not only that but, with Rakatan Aid, has constucted a new Star Forge.
The Republic had sent a task force to the isolated world, only to have it destroyed. Now even Core systems are bracing for yet another great conflict...

Emerging from hyperspace the Absolution, along with a 40 ship task force entered the Tatooine System.
"Men, The Republic Force here is very weak. Even if reinforcements arrive, they will all be wiped from the sky!" said Mandalore. The poor citizens of Tatooine had little clue as to the battle which would soon rage on their tiny little world...
