Funny that it's being made by Ubisoft when LucasArts have recently announced their own Handheld Division .

I think I remember that this title popped up on Amazon or some other online retailer a couple of months ago, and people didn't think much of it. [face_thinking]

In any case, I'm looking foreward to it. I'm wondering how different the two versions will be...

Good that you don't play as yet another (formerly unknown) Jedi.

Screenies look good, and yes, wonder if the DS / Stylus will offer anything different to the PSP version.

Good to see Kyle Katarn again, hopefully there is a nice Dark forces tie-in, well there has to be one anyway :p

I am scared and excited about this game. I love the EU references but I hope they don't do anything stupid like say " Whats her name really helped Kyle with the Death STar plans"

I think they are going to say that 'what's her name', actually was the one that stole the plans, not Kyle. Or maybe that Kyle helped her. It wouldn't be the first time the EU was struck a major blow.

God, not ANOTHER one!! Just how many different ways can you steal the blueprints for that giant beach ball out of the Imperial vaults anyway? [face_talk_hand] C'mon, there had to be more happening in that twenty-year period than just that! If it's the upcoming TV show that's holding the video game people back, can't they go and explore some other era - say, the NJO? Or maybe a Hitman ripoff starring HK-47...

You know I've always adimired the fact that when a game is discovered to be in the works usally it's JP that has brought it to our attention.

Looks interesting. Might have to pick up a PSP, been thinking about getting one. I agree with everyone else . I read "Only by working together can you complete perilous missions and ultimately steal the plans for the Death Star" and thought ugg not again. Sine Kyle was mentioned I imagine it will tie into DF, hope it's plausible.

Nightowl- I'm afraid I have to agree with you. I can't understand the premise of this game. Not too thrilled. Would have liked rpg games in the KOTOR, Clone Wars, and Galactic Civil War eras.

    >>Our heroes' ultimate goal: Uncover the Empire?s most deadly secret ? the Death Star.<<

    Continui-doh!

    >>and allows you to discover never-before-seen locations on Despayre, Danuta and Alderaan...<<

    Then again... [face_thinking]

Maybe this will explain how Kyle got his part of the plans to the Tantive IV? That's actually something I'd like to see filled in.

It will be interesting to see how the DS's functions will be implemented in comparison to the PSP version- maybe you'll be able to control both characters at the same time using the dual screens?

As long as this game isn't poorly done like the DS' Ep3 game, I might get this for the DS. I know the DS can only do improved N64 graphics but those are still really good and the game should be really cool if it uses the stylus and touch screen well.

I just found out the news from a PSP newsite I go to a lot, posted on the FF-UK boards since there are a few PSP people, then a member of the FF-UK redirected me to here :)

The thread I started was here.

I am glad the PSP is getting a new game, but I have the same reservations - but I am thinking this will tie in with this - Death Star novel out fall 2007.

And the game mentioned earlier was called "Shadow Strike" and I am sure I saw somewhere earlier this week that Shadow Strike is still going ahead - now either the name has changed to this one, or there is another game in the works.

See, when trying to be funny, timing is very important. You should look into that before trying again. Kthnx.

I bet you meet Darth Vader in the game. But only for a few seconds.

Not really...the game is coming out in December, and that unit was set up in July. One would hope the development cycle is longer than 4 months.

All the press say it's a long term partnership with Ubisoft - again, I find that odd given LucasArts own Handheld development dept...

There been anything more about that 'Handheld Games Group'? Could be just doing phone games for the Asian market or something.

Even they have an in house hand held dept. they'll mostly likely still need a publisher to put out their stuff.

Yeah, i'm intrigued by this game.

As far as differences between the DS and PSP versions: So far I know we've only seen screenshots of the PSP version, but I read that the PSP-online will have mercenaries vs. mercenaries, while the DS-online will have droids-vs-droids (and i assume hover droids. Supposedly, our "hero" and how she interacts with her superdroid are a huge element of the gameplay in the DS version).

    Hi there. :)
I really love the illustration for Lethal Alliance cover (maybe it's just a temporary cover), and by the way, thanks to TFN for providing a higher resolution than the (very) small one that was posted on the official SW website.

So, here's my question: who's the artist of this cover?
