Star Wars Miniatures Tournament Saturday.

Saturday at 4 p.m. A Street Games in Idaho Falls is having a tournament for the new Star Wars Miniatures game. I have some of the pieces but haven't really played it before, but the guy over there said I could bring fliers for the club to the event. So I'm heading over there to check out the scene. If anyone else wants to come along feel free.
I have enough pieces to make up a good squad so I might study up on it. It could be fun, especially since I managed to snag the ultra rare Probe Droid piece.

Adam was over tonight and we tried playing, I think I've got the idea but it will help to see other people play it. It is alot like Epic Duels only a bit more complicated. Up to four peopel can make squads and have them fight. It might be fun to do at a club activity. I'm just hoping I find a Boba Fett figure.

 

Although it takes a bit to get the hang of this game, it's pretty fun (frustrating, too, if you're cursed to roll the dice like me). Might be something fun to do at parties or after meetings.

 

Is it pretty expensive to get into this game? Are the figures pretty cool? Bring a few to the party Erik, I wanna see.

 

it kind of is expensive, I've been buying them off and on since they came out a few months ago, I have about 11 left to get the set and they are all rare ones. I will probably go to the next tournament Oct. 30.

 

I suggested to Erik that maybe we could invite the guys from A Street Games who are interested in gaming to our next meeting so they can show us how to play it.

What does everyone think? They meet in another week, so Erik could go and ask them then.
