Did anyone notice at the beginning of Family GUy, when Stewie was swordfighting Osama Bin Laden, the first few moves were exactly that of the Yoda-Dooku fight of AOTC?

I thought you were referring to the Battle of Hoth in the Naked Gun/Bobby's World opening. The Doom reference was the best, though.

Family guy really is the greatest show on earth, they just made fun of George Bush, Cobra Commander, stupid plays, they simpsons, Naked Gun 1 1/2, Starwars, Osama bin laden, apahci chief, the Gay Pride parade, and red carpet

There's a Star Wars reference in virtually every episode of Family Guy.

They also just now made fun of the fact that Peter's face looks like a package.

The references of SW in the Family Guy movie were good ones.

I was pretty impressed with how closely they mimicked some shots of Yoda vs. Dooku... I hope people got the joke (the lighting/scenery wasn't much the same, nor were the costumes or props, so it might pass some folk by)

    Rick McCallum loves you!

As much as I liked the Battle of Hoth shot in the Naked Gun opening parody on Family Guy,I liked seeing the Jawas with a booth full of droids in the Saudi Arabian marketplace scene on tonight's American Dad more. Quite unexpected.

I commented to someone about the Yoda moves... and then the Battle of Hoth... and the Jawas with the droids in the Saudi Arabia streets (which looked a lot like Mos Eisley).

If anyone watched the Simpsons tonight, you would've seen Apu as Artoo.

BTW, would this be better suited in SWC? Just a thought. ;)

Ah... that's what I was thinking of. The Jawas were in American Dad, not Family Guy.

On the Simpsons, a witch curses the Springfield citizens so that their costumes become their real identities. Homer is a headless man, Lisa is Einstein, Bart is a werewolf. Marge asks Apu "Don't you want to go back to normal?" and he says, "I'm Artoo-Detoo, I could really go either way. Click click, beep whirr beep."
