I've been saying this phrase even before it got popular on "The Office" - back when I heard it on a skit of "Wayne's World" on SNL. This reminds me of that other thread we had when you added "...in my pants" to the end of Star Wars lines.

Zero, you're walking on that thin line again. Remember, this is a public forum, where the minimum age of members is 13.

 

It is inferred that Luke will disintegrate Han Solo's pants with his laser blaster, and that Han Solo will have no pants to wear (which would look very embarrassing) while walking back home. Thus, "You're all clear kid! Now let's blow this thing and go home!"

What other connotations would that phrase be associated with?

 

So what connotation was I (or anyone else) suppose to read with this:

I've been monitoring Zero's err... unique sense of humor via his posting. I think the issue is that here, online, he feels more able to cut loose and such, which is fine, but what he needs to know and learn is what kind of audience he's got here. In his mind maybe it's the most hilarious thing ever, but in this kind of forum it can quickly become inappropriate and unfunny.

Zero, perfectly fine to joke around or whatever, just keep in mind that this is a public forum and certain things are frowned upon by the majority. If possible try to check your post first and ask yourself "Is this appropriate for all ages and PG-13", the bottom line is to THINK before you post. Furthermore, I know you like the seemly random and strange but if no one gets it, it's kinda pointless to post such things before it just becomes classified as overall strange. Other than that, post away!

Anyway, I'm not into censorship... we all know this (muhahaha), still there is a level of decorum that we should have for the club. Leave the inappropriate stuff for our live meetings.

 

Matty, I think that anime pic of the girl laughing is "self embarassing laughter". Not sure which anime it is but "ahaha" and cover the face slightly usually denotes they've said or done something embarrassing. Not that they are laughing at you... other wise it be just "hahaha..." At least that's what I HOPE that means. RIGHT ZERO...?

Zero, this is what I'm talking about concerning random and obscure references... Matt's not into anime and thus he doesn't have a "sharingan" to pick up on what they hell you're trying to tell him when you post something seemingly random like that. That's what I mean by knowing your audience. Matty has the authority to take down threads and postings if he feels it's inappropriate to everyone here or is possibly insulting. Just mindful dude... cos I have freakin "mangekyou sharingan", I REMEMBER EVERYTHING...

For the anime impaired I feel the need to explain what sharingan ^^^^^^^ is. In the anime Naruto, there is a ninja clan called the Uchiha who have a technique called "sharingan" or "wheel copy eye". A user of Sharingan can use this special eye condition to memories anything, copy anything, and virtually master anything they see when their Sharingan is active. It goes beyond just mere photographic memory because it addes to insight and attack ability of the user. Just like Spiderman's spider sense the user of Sharingan reflexes borders on precognition.

Mankekyou Sharingan or "kaledoscoping wheel copy eye" is the most advance form of Sharingan and it has even more ability at a danger to the user. Few in the Uchiha clan have ever reached this level of sharingan. Only 4 Uchihas to my knowledge are known and 1 outside the clan due to a transplanted sharingan eye. Anywho... thanks all. If anyone doubts my sharingan then feel free to go head to head with me in SW trivia.

 

The fact that Zero changes the subject in posts to things like "Hentai" doesn't help either.

 

Mmm... didn't notice that but I assume that's cos you had it removed (as you should). Not trying to defend his actions Matty, but interpreting what I see. Zero alone is accountable for his own words and actions and to continue to be here in this club I'd say he'd have to tone it down, A LOT.
