FF:SA Star Wars: The Clone Wars - August 14

As D-M alluded to, we have another Star Wars moofie premiere to attend!

Let's get excited and see if we can show how much support Star Wars has in SA!

Let's go to the movies!!

 

Is this a Thursday or Friday?

If it's the Thursday, I'm holding / hosting a large function at work until about 9...grrrrr.

Edit: just checked, it's a Thursday. Crap.

I'll be there, <even if I am against computer animated movies it's Star Wars movie, yay!>

 

Its not that bad when you consider that probably 90% of RotS was computer animated

 

Including Hayden Christensen's acting!

 

Actually I don't hate all computer animation, Dreamworks computer animation I actually do like, but Pixar makes me a little ill <they're the worst.> So hopefully Lucasarts does a little better then the Pixar company they sold.

 

I hope to be there, it depends on the rating. If mini vader can't go it wouldn't be fair if I went and she didn't.
We'll just have to wait and see.

 

is it new "official" SW ??

I wouldn't care if it were stick figure flip animation....It's NEW Star Wars stories. You bet I'll be seeing it !!

 

It would seem that Marion Megaplex would be the cinema of choice. But does anyone have ideas of anywhere else that would be as good or better?

I'm aware of the distance being travelled by some in the North.

 

Reading Cinemas West Lakes?

I dont actually know if thats easier for people, but I've always been a fan of those cinemas since they opened, prefer them to Marion actually.



EDIT: Having said that, Marion would still be my choice for this occasion, considering its a Premiere, and its SW, and there will be a lot more people at Marion then there would be at Reading's

 

I live North but I still vote for Marion.

I'll be attending (hopefully in clone) along with e-i jnr.

I know it's a bummer for people North, but Marion does have the best cinema & we've got a good tradition there of putting on a bit of a good show in costume. The cinema's in the city are very disappointing honestly. Town deserves better cinema's than they have. Time for an upgrade there methinks. I went to see Iron Man at Norwood recently & it was built not that long ago on a pretty small scale

Having said all that..It's NEW SW !! I'd go anywhere if needed !! Yay SW !!

We have caught public transport to Marion before...maybe be interesting doing that in costume.......

 

The new wallis cinema at mitcham is very sweet , clser to the city, and those who did the harry potter thing should remember it well. If I can just make Kitt a bit more comfy, and vision , yes vision would be good. We'll be there!

 

Yeah that cinema was pretty sweet, just as far for us northerners thou

 

I am *very* unhappy. Of all the dates I'll be at work that late. When Ep III premiered, I worked from 8am - 8pm, but at least it didn't start until midnight. I'm assuming it'll be an 8 or 9 pm session?

On the good side, the date of said work function hasn't been advertised yet, so I might have to look at a change due to an unavoidable clash...

 

I'd like to see it in the cinema. It'd be awesome to relive a Star Wars movie in the theaters since my screwed up screening of Episode One. Grrr, i could have killed that projectionist!
