Star Wars: The Egyptian Connection? (GAOTS)

    A little theory that I was thinking about the other day... Golden Age of the Sith takes place 5,000 "years ago" (we also know star wars happens "a long time ago...", and while that could possibily be in the future and simply a long time ago from the perspective of whomever is telling the story, for this purpose we'll assume that by "along time ago" they had a more contemporary and literal meaning). Now, GAOFTS has an egyptian-style to the style of clothing the characters wear. At this point in time there are also lots of people trying to get rich by discovering and mapping new "safe" hyperspace navicomputer coordinates. Now, what if one of those exploration attempts lead them to a route that took them extra-galactic and to "our" galaxy? I don't remember a whole lot of my egyptian history in regards to dating, but if the egyptian society started sometime around 5,000 years ago, it would mesh with the concept that that is how humans got to earth, in context with the star wars universe at least. It would also explain the various cultural similarities (particularly the egyptian visuals). And, although it's a Stargate-ish concept, the various egyptian gods could have been one of the alien races from GFFA.

    Actually, that would be China, not Egypt, that was 5000 years ago.

    Egyptians were around 4000 years ago, but that extra 1000 years makes a big difference.

    GAOTS looks like GOATS which is an anagram for ATAGS :)

    yeah, i'd say thats kinds streching it. the way i figure, the Stargate thing accounts for all the egyption civilization in my own world..... ;)
