The cook books and stuff are a great idea.
What kind of Star Wars party do you have without food?
The kind with a lot of angry Hutts.[face_laugh]

Corny joke aside, if the party's for the hardcore fans (which I?m assuming it is), their could be games, costumes, and maybe some Huttese karaoke. [face_dancing]
Always remember, any party?s a good party when it has plenty of Juma Juice and Tarisian Ale.:D
Good luck with your party. [face_peace]

I recomend a Death Star shaped pinata, struck with a lightsaber stick.

If you do this, you GOTTA have the blast shield helmet! Another game might be "pin the braid on the padawan". :)

For a cool drink (besides blue milk), use lime sherbet with ginger ale (a half gallon for every two 2-liters of soda). Put that in a punch bowl, with a small toy X-wing floating in it and it looks EXACTLY like it's out of ESB! So cool! For the ROTS DVD release, we're using orange sherbet with Obi and Anakin figures to look like Mustafar!

There's a Star Wars-themed party happening at a bar here in San Francisco on the 29th. It's being converted to look like Jabba's Palace!

I actually got the pinata idea from a guy on the RPF boards, So I can't take credit but I believe he did make a blast shield helmet for it.

My friend is having a Star Wars party this weekend and I've been helping him decorate. We did a Rebel flag for one section of his yard (complete with Empirial battle damage), a Empire symbol for another end, a mural of the Death Star shooting Alderran (done in glow paint with black lights), a painting of Jabba for his pool table/game room, a Jar-Jar dart board, an Ewok dart board, a garden Jawa, a paper mache Yoda hut hidden under a downed tree in his yard, the twin suns of Tatooine cut out of foam and painted to glow under the black lights, and a foam silhouette of a Star Destroyer with tiny glow lights.

At a bar? Damn! I'm right over in Stockton, but I'm only eighteen. Oh well.

For cool ambience, you can alter those disco balls into the Death Star. :)
